I just noticed Amanda wears a "Berlin" - shirt in the beginning... awesome :D because I'm from germany and I'm probably going to live in Berlin in a year or so :D
@DrunkenRussian17 Also, Brian had to take time off because he was suffering from exhaustion around this time. I went to one show where Amanda had to play solo, and another where Brian had a bad night and then afterwards got pretty upset and started yelling at a guy outside the venue who was selling fake merchandise until he packed his t shirts away and left. So I think that Brian was just having a bad time generally and wasn't really coping with things. I'm just putting two and two together?
@DrunkenRussian17 I'm not sure but I think it might have been a mixture of some onstage misconstrued communication and Brian reacting a little over-sensitively to the "It's okay, at least I still have you" comment, which I think was Amanda joking about 'still having Brian' so it's okay that someone took her coin operated boy away?? Probably Brian found that to be patronising and presumptuous given their complicated on/off sexually charged relationship?
Those two would have been great silent film performers back in the day. Especially Brian, the loveable clown.
Touring is intense. People's strengths and weaknesses, and relationships' strengths and weaknesses, really come out.
