BUT, if you damage a lot of units and leave them alive, at a later point in the game you can wipe them all out quickly while your opponent is wasting money on depos/pylons/overlords.ed Also if they're trying to micro damaged units away from a battle, they might accidentally micro pre-damaged units that aren't in the battle away wasting valuable APM. It's basic Florencio Science.

CLEARLY, if he was really a TRUE sewer mermaid he would be using a PS4 controller, which by the way, has a touch pad that can be used as a mouse for that MAXIMUM florencio micro potential. (and yes this is actually a thing. You can use the touch pad as a mouse with left click. I used it playing Overwatch on PC... DONT JUDGE ME!!)
Neeb got used to microing using the Xbox gyroscope, turns out it's the best way to do things when you got a spliff on one hand and a bowl of guac on the other; Florencio just humours him at this point.
It's elements of luck, predictable luck, like broodlings coming out of an exploding zerg building that do very little damage but can turn the tide in just the right situation, that make this game special. Elements of luck, they create shock and surprise - and the being able to deal with them shows true skill.
ok but...no joke, the ability to designate a 'mascot' actaully seems like it could be a cool mechanic. like...you pick a unit as the mascot, and that unit maybe gets somet ype of buff...idk, but it like...can't be ordered to stop attacking once its aggroed. and when it dies it gives a buff to nearby units based on how expensive it was. so basically you can choose to sacrifice an expensive unit for a group wide buff. idk...certainly needs workshopping but i like the concept.

Knowing your going rays, why cant he realize a quick +2 air wpns gives each ray an additional 6 dps???? He pulled it off, but it'd been gg at 10 mins if hed just UPGRADE...as a protoss player its painful to watch another toss never get upgrades because ups are toss's main power

Or maybe morte is an idiot. 1) Constantly down on workers but g8 he has 4-5 bases 2) lets a few zealots completely destroy his drones instead of pulling them and he just keeps staring at it 3) walks around with queens with full energy but does not transfuse his corruptors on time 4) builds corruptors against void rays ALL THE FUCKING TIME 5) rallies his corruptors directly through the rays & takes terrible engagements & does not focus fire at all... and so on. Absolutely seriously, 90% of zergs in platinum would have won this, so how is it possible that morte lost it?
I've seen this done in many previous Florencio Files. The Zerg generally forgets hydra range, then goes to dick town when the sewer mermaid switches to mass disco balls. Also, making Mutas gets dicked by phoenix switch.
