I’ve used box fans, and even though I replaced them every year, I was still terrified of fire. I was buying a $10 box fan from Walmart. I just didn’t like throwing them out every year. I don’t know how to clean the dust out so using them again was a risk.
I had thought of the AC unit, but I’d suspect the risk of fire is the same? I’ll have to watch the video.

I'm going to use a O2cool 10 inch fan running on 12v, no fire Hazzard, the fan is going to run on solar, the solar is also going to run interior lights and my chicken guard door, im also planning on having a rain catchment system that will automatically water the chickens, I have a video on a o2 cool fan I turn into a 12v pedestal fan, it's going to be the same electrical installation, anyone can do it, super easy
I'll have to check out your video. I'm pretty impaired when it comes to anything mechanical, so we'll see if "anyone can do it." :) Your coop is gonna be so awesome! Can't wait to see the rain catchment system!
@@thefeatherbrain It's just adding a 12v plug to the cord, the welding in that video is another story, I was actually getting the hang of a new welder I had never used lol
