Nice one, if you want to try the Metal Max series, try to keep an open mind, they can get really ridiculous fast, but they are a lot of fun once you get into everything.
I recognize that battle music holy hell. It's from a game called Metal Saga. a silly rpg where you have tanks.... and a muscle cult that worships 'Saint Arnold'. You could find special genetically modified dogs in a lab there. a shiba inu, a pug(with laser eyes), and a saint bernard

I just noticed at the end of the video, that's a Shell (or "Zell" in the non-infringing form in game) gas station under the left half of the settlement. And the Z falling off to just read "hell" is a great touch.

Well it is actually, Metal Saga is part of the Metal Max Series, one listen to the boss music can give you a huge hint.
I'm presuming Bombelion is supposed to be pronounced like dandelion.
Of course, it's hard to tell whether you don't know and don't care, or if you do know and don't care, when it comes to pronouncing things differently =P
When I saw the dogs with guns on their back, I immediately thought of Metal Max. Unfortunately, I want to recall hearing a *lot* of negative things about the most recent release in the series, Xeno Reborn.
Kind of reminds me of the dog characters from Metal Saga if anyone remembers that game.

Where you mentioned that you like games where you can be pulling down meteors by the end, I think you'll like the rest of the Metal Max series, I've played Metal Saga, it's a very open-ended JRPG where you drive around in a tank, and fight wacky enemies like an AI possessed armored post-apocalyptic giant volkswagen beetle (this is the first overworld boss that you have to track down and kill once you're out of the tutorial). I'd say it's worth playing.

Wander, the wizard simulator you're looking for is called fictorum. its got the FTL style level progression, only you're a wizard that can rain meteorites down over the entire map if only you have the right spellbook and runes. Combine everything with the cloud rune.

Talking about wizard action rpg, I wish there is one with the magic system like wizard of legend. Easy to get learn but still have a lot of depth while still looking fancy af.
I like how in the tutorial you're carrying a gun bigger than that of an Abrams tank.

The moment I saw this I thought of "Metal Max" one of the RPG series that weren't officially translated in english except once with Metal Saga.
I remember reading a book about augmented dogs like this. But it was a long time ago, and I forgot the title.
If you want a magic game where you end up slinging meteors and 'normally the limit is 10 but you can figure out how to crank it to 15' try looking up Fictorum. It's an... interesting game.
I'm not entirely sure the concepts of Doggy and Bullet Hell should be put together

on the note of "wizard flinging meteors at the end" type deal the only game i know that has done that is dragons dogma where u start with small spells and by the end ur either raining down fire or rendering a whole area unsafe by creating giant tornadoes

I checked quickly and the developer's website is Japanese so if the English sounds off, it's probably because it's Japanese written with English words?
Usually it's what happen, when you look at Japanese people speaking in English not quite well, you can get a similar vibe.

Dragons dogma has some cool ass magic, like meteor storms or turning an ally into a magical nuke you shoot out of a magic bow
That first dog is not a Shiba Inu but a Akita Inu. The Shiba Inu is the smaller breed and the Akita inu the bigger one

If you want kooky levels of magic then look into an old game called Magicka. Basically allows you to mix spells into stronger spells, often killing you or your friends in the process.
Nox is an older game in the vein of Diablo that has a whole magic crafting system if that sounds appealing to you

THIS IS FROM CYGAMES!? I didn't know they made actual games that aren't gachas... aside from stuff like Granblue Relink and Versus which both felt like franchise products
@50:55 Rommel Ghost *did* kill you, or at least one of his supporting units did. Check the beginning of the video. The game starts with you being brought back to life, and then you "replay" the events that happened right before your death. You go through a first floor with no enemies, but the second floor puts you straight into a boss fight with Rommel Ghost. Even though you died before it appears, you can see its name displayed on the boss health bar.
This game is just too rich! At first I was asking myself: "Why does that artwork look so damn familiar?" and then I remembered that this furball was in Metal Max: Xeno Reborn and I started to laugh at the heartwarming absurdity of a little dog like Pochi strapped with high ballistics grade munitions on his back!!! In a ways... I'm glad this studio made a solo game for a companion character.
Oh my god I TOTALLY forgot about this game! I saw it being announced as coming soon at some point but I forgot to wishlist it. Still looks as good and fun as I remember.
A game I can highly recommend is Magicmaker for that unbalanced approach
You get components for your spells and robe and you make your own spells, you can make combine effects and make the wildest things, like a cluster summon spell that will rain down minions on enemies

The top one might be 鞄 (Kaban) which means bag? (I'm a Kemono Friends fan)
Under that , the kanjis are probably 流通 which in this context might with the rest mean "Distribution center"?

Haven't been watching for a while cause some of these extremely random games have you borked in both words and gameplay and you've been going through so many I don't even have a clue what you'd even care about cause even the ones where you get frustrated for not remembering some mechanical feature or the game is actually just frustrating, are blended in with the ones that you do actually enjoy and the mechanics play nicely with either skipping the tutorial or otherwise just extremely functional mechanics.
TLDR, glad to see you found some games in your insanely over capacity catalog of games that have player friendly controls.

Also I would not recommend playing Metal Max Xeno Reborn as your first main Metal Max game, it's buggy, heavily censored, multiple cuts and badly localized.
There's the game Magicka but i'm not sure how sandboxy it is
