I would definitly get an XLT extended range. For us, in Canada, with the cold winters, that 100 miles range is worth it. Also, I'm a guy with big hands and I pretty much prefer the old school buttons, rather than a big touch screen. For me the 12 inch screen is more than enough and if I ever wear gloves, the button will still work rather than a touch screen. Finally, since I'm 6 foot 7 inches, I can't fit in the LARIAT because of the sun roof. It drops the roof about 2 inches and because of that, I wasn't able to fit in it. So there you go, XLT for me. Actually, I'm getting my XLT extended range a the beginning of march and can't wait.
The question is yes or no to extended range imo. It depends on the buyer. If you don’t tow and live in a warm climate, you don’t really need the extended range, especially now that the supercharger network is open to fords. But if you live in a cold climate (trust me, I know, I live in Canada & drive a Tesla) you must get the extended range. You can expect a 40% drop in range in extreme cold
Yeah it's always nice to have more range IMO regardless of situation Plus after so many battery cycles the range will be diminished so the extended range may have the capacity of standard range and standard range will be severely depleted.
Strangely though, my Tesla has a 75kW battery and it has 100,000 miles. But when I did my battery life test on it recently, it was still at 92% capacity. That’s pretty damn good if u ask me. So I don’t know if I’d ever be worried about battery life diminishing. But we talking Tesla with CATL battery. I don’t know what ford is using
That is crazy. Something is going on with the window stickers. I bought my Silver XLT two weeks ago optioned like that one for a lot less. I paid what was on the sticker. That one was like $20K more.
The cool lights and fancy trim doesn't do you any good when you are stranded on the side of the road because you ran out of range driving uphill between charging stations.
I wouldn't get either, idk what is going on at that dealership, but I can go online and spec out an extended range lariat with multiple extra options for around $81k, not sure how the one in this video is $81k without the bigger battery.
@@DeLoEnterprises The reality is If you are paying over MSRP for A new vehicle you are getting ripped off and you should walk away from the deal just my opinion. Between the two though if they were priced at fords MSRP I would go with the XLT for the simple fact that not having enough range with this type of vehicle is A real let down. Its too bad that ford's douchbagery prevailed and did not allow for the base model to have extended battery option that would be my choice.
You can definitely get them right now (2 months later) for MSRP, maybe even a little under. MSRP prices have also apparently dropped, as you can now get a Lariat with extended range battery for slightly under $80K. Might have something to do with the tax credit $80K limit? Not sure, but deals are much better now than is shown in this video.
The Lariat looks like it’s platinum white not avalanche, avalanche is a light gray pretty much called cactus gray on the Broncos I just bought a used platinum white lariat lightning with the standard range battery for 56K it’s an $80,000 truck and I bought it with 4000 miles on it. We totally love it.👍🏽👍🏽 Actually I just saw the sticker saying avalanche 😂🤣
You and DeLoEnterprises obviously do not own battery power tools. If you did you know that the battery is everything and if you made the battery's equal here the XLT would not be more expensive.

The cold severely effects overall range.

@@DeLoEnterprisesyep, that's one reason I ordered a lariat with ER battery. Also, more HP!!
I just today bought the XLT Blue!
Nice!

Massive rebates!
You did not show if the XLT has the sliding rear window?
I don’t think it did!
It does not have it

True but creature comforts are a big selling point

Good luck getting one of these for MSRP or under!
almost every dealership now has them either at MSRP or below MSRP (most common). The days of asking above MSRP are over.@@DeLoEnterprises

The color names are weird across different models
@@DeLoEnterprises Lol in your video it really looked white I actually own a 2021 cactus gray bronco also😂👍🏽👍🏽
And I would never buy standard range
Really, Nice!
If i had to pay 6 figures, I would just get the Platinum.
True
I would go with the lariat
Same
XLT all the way!
It’s sweet!
Lariat with extended range
Me too
lariat
Yes!
No way xlt is more expensive…
Isn't that crazy!
