- Hi, Friends..Sorry about the shaky camera and the noise! I just wanted to film this kinda quick so I could show you the results from printing on the rice paper I shared in my ASC haul! I LOVE THE RESULTS!! Here is a link to ASCSUPPLIES on ETSY if you are interested in getting some for yourself!!

Thanks for help with how to print on rice paper as I just got mine in the post & was scared to put it in the printer so have been stamping on it. Can’t wait to print on it as that’s why I bought it as buying printed rice paper it a little pricey but so lovely 😊👍🏼🤩!

Love this idea, thank you... question... when you run it through twice to get darker print, you don’t seem to have any trouble with it registering in the same place, is there a trick to doing that?
Thanks so much..great question! Not a problem at all registering the same place..all you do is flip the paper the exact way that it printed out the first time and it should come out exact! If u are unsure..practice on some copy paper to see how u need to load it up correctly ..other than that it should print perfectly for u as long as it is loaded facing the correct way and all ! If u have any more issues or need a visual lmk and I will do a quick vid showing you exactly how I do it no problem! Thanks for stopping by hun!
What is the best printer to get make your own rice, paper and printable’s?
Can you seal them to keep them from bleeding when you place it under varnish?

Hello..thanks for your sweet comment ..As for the question Mine did not smudge, but I made sure not to mess with it for a day to make sure it dried well before working with it! I obviously can't guarantee it won't smudge but if u let it dry for a day or more it should be fine! ;)

Yes this will work great with a laser printer..infact if you have a laser printer the ink will NOT run when you decoupage! of course it depends on the printer..some might be finicky, but just try it this way and it will probably work great! I am from MI! I live in Lincoln Park ..downriver ;) Thank you!
Found a nice camera holder $5 @ Dollar Plus & a tripod @ Walmart. Not BRAVE enough to do a channel yet!😆😵💫

Hello, Mary! Not a problem at all..There are SCEVERAL that work fantastic!! I use ALL of these literally lol I just rotate my mediums so they dont get old and worn out and I like all of them that I will mention (just so ya know ;) ok so I LOVE Liquitex Matte Medium (probably my favorite but a lil bit pricier than the rest..not much), Mod Podge is great but some people just dont like mod podge period...It holds beautifully imo...I also use DecoArt Decoupage Matte which is great...Those are the "matte mediums" and are my favs, but Gel mediums work fantasic as well...probably just about any brand. Lastly, you could probably also use PVA glue but I have not just because I barely use PVA however, i recently have fallen in love with "Lineco PH neutral PVA glue" because it has a really strong clear hold. I just havent used it in rice myself. Lol sorry that was a rather long answer. Glue gets me excited apparently lol Hopefully that helps..lmk if u have anymore questions I could help with!! @@megsgonnamake Oh thank you SO MUCH Meg!! Very helpful!! I like the matte mediums better than gloss too. I also don't use much PVA glue but might give that Lineco one a try as I always use archival materials. Can't wait to try printing on the rice paper. Thanks again (from Down Under Australia).

Thanks for your comment..They worked out great for me. I will say that if you are going to use modpodge on top of them and you used an inkjet the ink can smear a bit. However, I was able to decoupage just fine without smearing as long as I didnt over do it with the glue or too much brushing. Overall, I was very pleased and will continue to print on rice paper with my inkjet and make decoupage papers. Thanks so much!! Take care!
When I print on my rice paper I put paper over the rice paper when printed and use a iron to set the ink 😬

Can we use laser printer instead of ink jet? I think when we apply ModPodge, colours will bleed, i am right or wrong?
YES! You are 100% right! Laser printer is ideal for this..I was just doing this vid for people who don't have a laser printer (like myself) to see if it is possible. Laser is much better and doesn't run! I did get GREAT results with my inkjet when I let my papers dry completely overnight and only used a thin layer of modpodge though. Hope that helps! Thank you!
