Do digitals print up on home computer clear & good color? I Have never tried it. Except on crochet patterns. It didn't matter on them. But the pictures weren't clear & the color was bad. Pretty sure we need new cartridges though. I just wanted to know if the digitals turn out nice.
Yes they turned out beautiful on my inkjet. I have several in the book...pretty much every picture in the book is from a digital printed on My regular ol Brother inkjet and they came out lovely

Im finishing watching and seeing how you used coffee dyed paper. I have made paper, but theyre still the background is still white. They would look awesome dyed, so will do that as soon as i get setteled into my new place.

Love these projects! My suggestion when you do the center fold is that you only do the one layer that is going to fold over the front flaps and leave the back flap intact. It tends lo look neater and cleaner from the back side.

Patty- I have been using this product for a while now. I must say none of the sets I ordered came to me the way yours came to you. I love these paints and will continue to order them as I need them. Thank you for showing their positive points. Too many times, individuals need what CSY doesn't deliver, so there is a feeling that they aren't so great. I love shiny things and will use them in the way they work for me. I appreciate your review.

Patty-I have used the metallic paints as embellishments and accents. They are great, but the matte paints I received behaved the same way yours did in the video. I won't get matte again. That's such a shame. Thanks for your insight on the situation.
@@patriciatolliver4057 yea that is a shame unfortunately. There are really good CHEAP regular watercolors thankfully. Have you tried the $20 Mei Liang watercolor pallette?? You probably have -I know they are popular and much more well known channels have shared them, but if not they are really fantastic esp for crafting etc. I have high end paints and those really hold there own esp the amount you get, the nice case, and the beautiful colors as well as color mixing. @megsgonnamake I haven't tried Meiliang yet. I'm on the fence. The brands I use regularly are DaVinci, MGraham, Sennelier, and Van Gogh. I'm contemplating Mission Gold. On the fence about that brand as well.
@@patriciatolliver4057 oh well those brands are definitely better paints for sure!! I love them too. The Mei Liang are just a bargain paint set I suggest usually to those who can't afford the others or for kids..or if u are like me and just love trying different paints. I really enjoy my tiny sample set of Mission Gold. I got a sample of all the pure colors from Ebay and they mix so beautifully!! Also, another great one to try is Rosa! I LOVE the big pans...great paints!! Thanks again for the paint chat! I could talk about Watercolors all day 🌝

Are these lightfast?
I haven't done any window testing on them, Teresa so I am not sure. I haven't found any info on LF for these. I never trust any watercolors to be 100% lightfast just because of the type of medium it is. I know some fade more than others so i generally just keep my watercolor art out of direct sunlight. They also make uv glass for framing watercolor artwork too.
I just now saw this. Yes, its a great way to mix colors from pans. I like the pans but hate using the metal tins and trying to dip into those tiny wells. I am hooked on porcelain. One of my favorite browns is using Phthalo Blue (PB15.1) with Transparent Orange (PO71). Schmincke used to call this orange Translucent Orange.Its so beautiful! I wish Schmincke hadn't changed the name of the paint with the exact same pigment because it throws us off.
Omg Renee..I LOVE TRANS OR & PHTH BLU! One of the most GORGEOUS rich browns! I use Dan's Smith's Po71 Trans Pyrol Orange & Phth Blue. Chef's kiss! I am the same- I LOVE PORCELAIN! It's like once you use a porcelain dish you don't want to go back ;) I still have never even tries Schmincke anything yet. I told myself once I get a little better or atleast until I use more of what I have I'm not purchasing more paints (we will see how long that lasts lol) Thanks so much for the chat..I love hearing what others are into!! 😁🙏
