Its Rovans cheap way to save money! I mean if they want to start having a good reputation they got to start using better quality parts and silicone oil. Its a good way to get into fifth scale for the price but need to change out most of the parts!
ive had a genuine 5ive t and really theres little to no difference yes the genuine plastics are better but I've been very impressed with everything other than the crap in the diffs all cleaned and changed out for proper fluid
@@lukeyj8745 There's a huge difference. Rovan's manufacturing tolerances are almost non existent, resulting in poor fitting parts and lots of slop. I had one, and not only did the axle have play in the bearing, but the bearing also had play in the hub. Plus a couple of the balls in the tie rod ends had play....they are terrible, not worth the hassle and extra $$$ to get it fairly close to the much higher quality Losi :)
If you need to show people how to do this they should not own hobby grade rc.p.s the reason they use Grease from factory most times is because they don't want them leaking and the diff runs cooler as grease doesn't hold heat as mush as the oil filled cup. if you use oil make sure to use a gasket
I need a video showing ot being taken off the losi or 30dnt, full strip if possible please.
Very helpful - Thanks.
Great video dude keep it up
