For one Beyonce does NOT own riffs, runs, notes or singing in general...mind you Tamar has been singing WAY before beyonce was born....lets not get on the girl with NOT one "originality" bone in her body....Tamar along with the rest of the under dogs should be supported for their ORIGINALITY and talent versus Miss thing who only has a Name and album sales that continually drop after each album so she better be glad she makes revenue off her concerts

I'm all the way from Sweden and I've know whom Beyoncé is since the age of 5 and I didn't know whom Tamar Braxton until a year ago or so (no shade just fact). Although I agree people should stop compare Queen B to Tamar Braxton they are so different (vocally speaking). 🐝👑

Beyonce doesnt have more power, I would say more control but when it comes to belt Tamar has more power. Beyonce always need to be really agressive in her singing to sound powerful, her belts without grunting, roraring are not that powerful.
I've never heard Beyonce nailing belts like that. I can give beyonce credit for her control and her overall healthy technique but she doesn't have a really powerful voice, except in one or 2 performances ive heard.
Firstly you idiots tamar is saprano that's why she sings higher, beyonce is mezzo therefore a darker timbre than tamar also beyonce has more power but Tamar's belts are clearer

I thoroughly enjoyed. Tamar is a vocalist, and she makes sure to show you that. As a vocalist, I smile every time she successfully attempts vocally challenging techniques of control and color. Although it's not always necessary to sing everything dramatically, she's being her and she sounds great.
Tamar's facial expressions kill me...lol, but her voice is sooo beautiful
Same thing I felt Muriel Williams. She is a dramatist, but that voice is on point, especially her high notes.

We are playing Christmas music at work, and someone brought Tamar's. I swear fo' God that I was going to get some files, heard her singing, and turned around to stare at the bluetooth device in amazement. Her voice is AMAZING. I feel bad for not giving her props all this time. Her voice is like medicine. So soothing.

I personally think she is a great singer, although you could hear that she was a bit shaky and perhaps even a bit nervous in the beginning which is totally normal and okey. But my issue with this performance and a lot others of her performances is that you can't hear a word of what she is singing about. English is my 4th language and I'm quite good at it, perhaps I'm the only one whom find it very hard to hear the lyrics.
English is my first and only language lol and I can't understand half of the lyrics she sing most of the time either so it's not you.... But I love Tamar she can sing it's just a lot of her performances is so different than her rehearsals u see on television, when making up songs with her sisters or her concerts.... But any televised award shows or talk show performances isn't her best..... It's like she's uncomfortable and not as confident as she is in front of her family and fans

I wish people would stop comparing her and everybody else to Beyoncé. Beyoncé does not have the best voice. Yes, she can sing but there's always someone better. I could say Leon Lewis is better than Beyoncé because of the notes she does and they way she sings. But people need to understand not all female singers are gonna sound the same it's called being "different"! Everyone isn't supposed to sound the same. And people need to realize and understand there's other singers better than Beyoncé. No matter who you are or wat you do, someone is always better than you famous or not. So, people need to get over it and stop acting like Beyoncé is the best thing ever and owns everything. People before her had glitter, blonde hair, and girls dancing in the videos, and most of the time it's people who were heard of before Beyoncé, so people aren't copying her. This is the first I've ever heard this woman sing. I don't watch the show so pardon me. I think she got off to a little bit of a rocky start, but when she took things a little higher, it seems she got much more comfortable. She is very talented vocally! Maybe it was just nerves at the beginning.

Im sorry, but Beyoncé never has a shaky performance like this. She was out of breath and straining the WHOLE song. Big part of being a good singer, is knowing what you CAN and CANT do on a certain day. Tamar's range is much wider than Beyoncés, but Beyoncés works with what she has to its full potential.

Beyonce had professional vocal training. So of course she a superior vocalist compared to Tamar. But not that much. If Tamar would improve her technique and support her upper belts, headvoice, and lows she would be incredible. She has so much ease in her upper belts that she thinks doesn't have to support them because it's so easy for her. And with proper technique she can become a coloratura.
