Master Modeler Glenn Bartolotti has created quite a series with his "Step-By-Step Finishing Armor" series. Each of the volumes is a mini-master class in painting and weathering a specific armor kit or diorama. The paints, powders and washes are all clearly identified, along with pre-shading and other painting techniques.
Hello Glenn, hope you're doing well. Probably, one of the nicest looking Quads out there. I'm just admiring the textures you created with the tarps and the stowage, Very unique looking camo scheme. Everything looks flawless and realistic as usual. Amazing how you create your own tarps and stowage and the way you utilize pastels and oils in painting and weathering. Could easily picture this model in one of your North Africa theme dioramas, Thank you for showing this older but great Tamiya kit.
Thank you!!!
Just started building it and am really enjoying it. Such a kool kit!!! Yours is inspirational!! Awesome!!
Great thank you!
Brilliant job. I've always wanted to get one of these because Tamiya now sells them for like 20 dollars with a towed gun and figures.
Excellent kit even for age! Thanks
Higher class built, very impressive
thanks!!!
That really turned out awesome! You executed that tri-color El Alamein scheme to perfection mate. I’m going to try it, hopefully my results are close🤞🏻🤞🏻Thanks for the inspiration
thank you! good luck on your build!💪
I’m building this kit now,yes it’s a fun build.
Yes it is. I like kids that don’t take a lot of time to get together and you can do some extra stuff to spruce them up a little and it’s fun.
Very nice!
Thanks!
Wonderful painted British Quad. The fine detailed paintwork lift it directly up in a higher class.
A cool, model, Glenn. Greetings, Joachim
