- Hey everyone and welcome back to more Scrap Mechanic! This week we made Mazes! kAN and ScrapMan try to navigate this temple maze and get lost in the process!

Hey all, wasn't going to upload this, but people were asking about it! Sorry about the lighting issue, lesson learned.

Moonbo I find a name tag deleter mod from " theguy920 " it can be useful for you guys
The obligatory stupid question: Couldn't you allow them to use glowsticks for lighting themselves?
Though that could make it easier to seewhere they were in case of the "traps" if they were to drop a glowstick, which you could have told them not to, since If I remember correctly, glowsticks light up your surroundings even when you just hold one.
I don't see any issues, the torches just burnt out. It's an ancient temple after all, you can't just expect the torches to stay on forever or someone to go in and light them up. This isn't a movie! /s

The maze looks very hard, even with the lights on. When you said there was a second level I was even more impressed.
Moonbo you always put an impressive amount of work into your creations! You deserve more credit!
Next time yall do a maze, you should make the entrance and exit rooms exactly the same. Make the surrounding maze path the same too and see if you can fool kan and scrap by making them think they keep finding the start

Not sure how much post processing you did on it but the lighting didn't look bad, awesome difficult maze though love how much time you spend on the aesthetics, really had that old tomb feel!
Much better aesthetics than the other guy's mazes. Understandable reason for not uploading though. But that's what post editing gamma is for :D
Glad you posted this! I know it's not the content you intended us to see, but it's still an extremely enjoyable experience. Multiplayer Monday has become almost a ritual for me now so I can't wait until next week!
Moonbo, you did fine salvaging the footage. It's definitely clearly viewable on my end even if it doesn't really capture the "mood" the way you intended it to!

Oh it's so sad that the lights messed with the ambience, but it was a really nice maze moonbo!
I think this is my favorite maze you guys have ever done. Having all the little one way paths and multiple floors forces the players to get lost, instead of being able to relatively easily solve it by following walls. Then all the little psychological tricks to dissuade them from getting it right too quickly, like the one way paths leading out of where they actually want to be, and the correct drop down being right next to the top of some stairs so that they'll be less likely to randomly drop down it after just "escaping" the basement.
Looks like a super cool maze. Glad you still uploaded it.
Beautiful maze, well done! I love how your subtle tricks worked the way you wanted them to :D.... it's a shame about the lighting, that really would have set the mood for them; but I suppose dark and spooky works too.

Good stuff Moonbo, shame about the lights but i'm glad you still uploaded it.
It was great to see them Mono mention how the pots below the window were for them to think they found something and jump through and then see them repeatedly do it, even after mentioning the they may be there for that. The joy the first time they found that was great.

It looks fine with the brightness/gamma turned up.
This didn’t look anywhere near as bad as you made it out to be, it still looked awesome.
You know what is confusing, aside from trying to do this maze in person, is watching split screen of 2 people walking through a maze.... Holy heck what a mind feck. Moonbo, I was confused when you started the video. I tip my hat to you good sir. Great Maze.
The lighting certainly sets the mood, but it doesn't matter for the enjoyment of the video. Thanks for posting, certainly better than not posting at all. The thing I love most about this type of challenge is that I have 3 great videos to watch each week. Invite more friends, more people, more videos 🤩

Scrap Mechanic needs to add torches and cool little things like this in vanilla and get some more updates out.

What's weird to me is that at 4:32 kAN has a lit torch outside of the maze. Maybe it was from a different mod?

One of these days you just have to do something that's blatantly unfair to only one of them. Like make something that scrapman would clearly win at but make his side just a lot harder.
