    Did you ever get around to timing and filming the launch after the mods? I have on of these (AT as well) with catback and the MST intake and got it chip tuned to apparently 190 HP, though my draggy said 0-100 km/h in 6.7s (in mid summer though). I've always thought my tune isn't super, and I you're one of the only people with an AT version and a tune :).

      @@sebascorrea97 kinda lol I haven't had a chance at the moment to do a controlled run in good weather (currently winter here). Got a quick run in when she first got the tunning box and the car had drop .4 of a second of the 0-100 time. So was pretty happy considering she spent $300

      @@tamreg04 hmm, yet another datapoint pointing towards a bogus tune in my car 🤦🏻‍♀️. Having it re tuned just to see if it improves is hella expensive though, which is very sad :(
      What's wrong with winter though? Car should make more power so, barring rain and snow, you should be even quicker haha

      @@sebascorrea97 my daughter's car still needs some good tyres on the front, I have to launch with TC on other wise it will spin (even at half throttle) and your 0-100km is good as Emma's car was 7.5sec stock and quick run it was 7.1 on the draggy with a good launch the tunning box on full power we should see 6.9 so if you are doing 6.7 that's not bad on a draggy

      @@tamreg04 well, you'd think that after a full decat and exhaust, intake and Dyno tune you'd be more than .2s faster than a no mod, off the shelf tune. I mean no disrespect to your car obviously, I was just expecting the car to be low 6s with almost 200 HP and

      @@sebascorrea97I know very little about these auto's sorry, but what I do know is the extra mods may not matter if the turbo can't flow the required air threw it to make the HP. I would be shocked if that little turbo could make 200hp. What boost is yr car making for its 190hp cos I think Emma's car peaked at 16psi when I checked it (not 100% sure on that I need to recheck).

      It's a good transmission. The manual is more fun but the auto is close enough that I was happy to make the compromise for a more comfortable experience when I'm just driving around town.

    Try brake boosting and turning off traction next time, will help the time by alot.

      No there's to much torque for the poor old tyres (it's my daughter car I was wondering what it could do lol) new tyres will go on soon + a tune and kn filter, will put video up when those are done.

      @@tamreg04 i am soon getting one myself and I am planning on eventually putting on it a forge intercooler + intake, a catback exhaust and downpipes. Do you think with these mods the reliability will go down?

    • @tamreg04
      @tamreg04  3 месяца назад

      @@fatsoula6297I can't see reliability changing to much with those mods, we have just put a KN air filter in the factory intake and have put a racechip S (base unit) tunning box on the car, which has made a big difference at part throttle and normal driving it's much faster, I need to take it back out on the draggy and do a full test.

      @@tamreg04 Thanks man I was worried about that. Now that you mention it do you think that a racechip after the mods I want to do is going to be enough or should I go and tune it on a dyno?

    • @tamreg04
      @tamreg04  3 месяца назад +1

      @@fatsoula6297I would think after all those basic bolt on mods it would be better for a proper dyno tune. I'm not sure how much the factory turbo can flow but I would think it's going to be running out of air flow pretty quick after your base mods (I don't know you might see 200hp at the crank). When you start pushing boost into that small turbo that's when reliability and inefficiencys will start to show.
