Sorry, we didn’t have time to visit them all 🤷🏼♀️ if you scan the barcode in this video (around the main lobby) you can see the menu items at the restaurants. 👍🏻
they are absolutely awful - barcelo will torture you when trying to make an a la carte reservation - always pretending they are booked when the restaurants are always empty - it's a total scam - beautiful resorts and super disappointing to their guests - they do not reward you for loyalty AT ALL - we will never go back after supporting them for 7 years - their quality has gone wayyyyy down through the years
Do you prefer food at this resort barcelo (colonial/caribe/tropical/beach) or the bahia principe grand tulum? Which hotel is best for kids? (1.5yr and 4yr old)
They are very similar in terms of food, but I think Tulum has a bit more selection. Both hotel chains have a ton of activities for small kids and splash pads - but BP Tulum is newer 🤷🏼♀️ depends what your budget is 👍🏻
Thanks for the reply! We ended up booking bahia principe grand tulum and will be traveling end of April. Watched your videos on that resort including the buffet and room tours multiple times. Looking forward to it! Found a great deal on the 2 bedroom suite so I very much appreciated your content!
@@WherewegoingNext hello, thank you a lot for the reply. Is it too big difference between buffet in Palace and Tropical? As before we always stayed in Palace.
No, we’ve always eaten tons of cut fruit and have been fine.. but I would be careful of meat or any dishes that look like they’ve been sitting out for too long.
Honestly I’d be guessing 🤷🏼♀️ you can arrange a shuttle, a taxi, or an Uber and they will all be different. We’ve always purchased vacation packages that included hotel, flights and transportation. It’s about an hour and a half drive from Cancun airport to give you an idea.
I really appreciate the time you take to show us the buffets thank you! 💚🤍❤️
Thanks for watching!
Andrew , you have that covered to perfection - nobody does it better , thanks
Thanks for watching!
Man!!! Those buffet food is going to make my day at the Barcelo! Gotta watch my cholesterol level every night😂👍who cares! 😂
Exactly! You’re on vacation 👍🏻enjoy!!
Great video but I would be interested in the A La Carte restaurants

Have you tried bahia principe grand tulum?
Do you know if they are good with identifying what has peanuts for a person with a peanut allergy?
Yes, your waiter will be able to help you 👍🏻

Oh, that’s great! We absolutely loved our 2 bdrm suite! Hope you have an amazing trip!
Hello,
Could you please tell which buffet in veriety of food is better Barcelo Tropical or Barcelo Caribe?
They are basically the same. 👍🏻
@@WherewegoingNext hello, thank you a lot for the reply.

I wouldn’t say a huge difference, but the palace is a bit bigger and has more variety.
@@WherewegoingNext thank you a lot for your answer
Any gluten free options?
There is usually a small case with some gluten-free bread and pastries
I was told to avoid cut fruit and cold food in Mexico? Is this not true for resorts?
No, we’ve always eaten tons of cut fruit and have been fine.. but I would be careful of meat or any dishes that look like they’ve been sitting out for too long.
Btw tons of people in our group all got the stomach bug. Most were sick 3-4 days.
Sorry to hear!
Hi. Do they have airport shuttle available?
No, you have to organize your own transportation
@@WherewegoingNext And how much will it cost in general?

18 minutes of buffet..
There’s a lot of food 🤷🏼♀️
