    Great videos. Keep them coming.
Seems to me that the highway needs to be upgraded, improved or design changes to accommodate the high traffic flow. One lane each way is not enough to handle such large influx of traffic. Maybe add an additional lane each way, a turning lane, traffick signals or maybe a truck only lane. One lane highway with high flow traffic is an accident waiting to happen.

Regarding the speed 75 in TX, with a drop in NM to 55, that's a significant drop in a short distance. In my opinion, keeping the same speed into NM with a gradual drop would probably be safer

Surfer Surfer also adding signage would help too, something like speed reduced ahead

Brady Bevard which based off this video texas would have to place in their state. The drop in speed is to great, for such a short distance. Here in VA the speed limits on the interstates are 70, until you reach a metro area where they drop to 65. There is at least a mile or more between the signs.

As someone who lives in illinois I dont really have to worry about the speed limits there but I will say its almost as bad here coming from kentucky or Missouri as it is there.

sounds like 128 and 285 are just like Maryland 210(Indian Head Highway) Lots of reckless driving resulting in fatalities...my station ran a triple fatal there two weeks ago....drunk driver hit a couple and their kids....all three kids died. sad sad story.

It needs to be a 4 lane road all the way with pull outs and turning lanes at the intersection

Use the double fine money to solve the problem. Use marked units instead of unmarked.

Damn NMSP have a hard on for hard working truck drivers... It's the regular vehicles that are causing the accidents they don't have patients ...

It's both. It's not hard to find an 18 wheeler where the driver can't even read the road sign to pick ups packed with hoosier drivers.

A lot of the accidents are caused by 4 wheelers yet only the commercial vehicles are getting inspected and fined

U would think someone would maybe make the road a little wider.

Cops need to be more visible. Pink cars and bright flower uniforms.

Why red lights? It’s ugly. Why not red and blue? ❤️❤️

    • @pizzaparty-r1c

Because red lights are less disorienting, especially at night.

They always start with trucks, it's been proven that cars are involved in fatal accidents more often than trucks. Truckers are the point of least resistance!

Wahhh I’m a truck driver. Google how many trucks have been involved in fatal crashes either HOS violations, speeding or meth!!!!

Your mind is a mystery! FYI, I'm a former NMSP Policeman ststioned in Las Cruces.
I just retired from professional driving of 43 years, 5 million miles, no accidents, no traffic citations so, you see I'm overly qualified on both trucks and law enforcement and statistics. Trucks are involved in less fatal accidents than cars.
      Shall I continue?
Oh, BTW, I can tell by the wording in your rebuttal that you're not a truck driver now or ever have been, you don't have the slang or lingo.

    • @mystryj4771
      @mystryj4771 6 лет назад

You’re a former truck driver and NMSP officer and yet you don’t see the importance with speed enforcement?? Damn how old are you like 90? Benny Robinson hmmm smells like cow manure. I love it when truckers are pulled over, and apparently so does your NMSP. Dude if you are legit former cop do us a favor and drive five million more miles out of NM.

FYI, I no.longer live in NM, thank goodness,! I can tell you're a Trump supporter by your personal attack.
I would have a mental battle with you but, you're unarmed.

hahaha! the state police haven't done a damn thing for safety. I work in the oilfield and drive 285 and 128 daily. I RARELY see LEO out here. Instead of making VLogs trying to make you look good, how about doing your damn jobs to make you look good! I've even seen an EMPTY Patrol car parked on the side of the HW between Malaga and Loving for over a week! Laziness!

Do not make it so ez yo get a driving license. Do not need a milion cops. Just make it harder to get a license and yo keep a license. Nm is a failure and has been for 50 years.
