I hope Jackson will soon meet someone who waits for him to come home. He deserves to be loved wholeheartedly. It brought tears to my eyes knowing the emptiness he feels when he’s alone.
There's no feeling like home where there's someone waiting for you and greeting you at the door. He needs to know unconditional love. I hope he get a partner or pet soon. 💔
When he spoke about how he wants lots of people to welcome him home I immediately remembered roommate. He must have liked that more than most of us realised.
N N Omg I first got to know him through roommate., there was literally so many mainstream Korean celebs in that house with Jackson. It seems like their season had the best energy. Seo kang joon was also a new actor at the time and he and Jackson shared a room. I always loved seeing how they vibed together, they were always laying in bed, Jackson’s legs always thrown on top of kang joon’s while one was brushing teeth and the other was on the phone 🥲 life was so simple back then for me. I wonder if kangjoon, Jackson, youngji and Gukjoo are still close.,
This sounds do weird but I don’t think I’ve ever heard Jackson be so real and you can see how Eric is so concerned for him. Jackson you work so hard and its okay to take a break I’ll always be there for you I have been for 8 years and I’ll stay
I think what Jackson's worried about is not being able to create more than he wanted. Not just for fans but for himself as an artist. Artists have this yearning to produce new things. It's the art and the process. Cause like he said, he's worried about time and that he feels he needs to make better things despite the fans actually saying they like what he makes.
U said exactly what’s in my head! His podcast’s gonna blow cuz Jackson’s such a natural in carrying out meaningful yet entertaining conversations ++ u alwiz leave taking away smth inspiring! 🩷
@@rogue5843 because this person needed to tell us that she is a psy chotherapist to tell us things we could see and understand . At least it changed from all the disclaimers
@@yoidkbuthi3242 is true... But, in my country and my house if people see you don't turn on the light at least some time they might rob you, so if you are traveling is wise to at least have a timer or those wifi operated lights ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
That moment when Jackson talks about leaving the light on to feel like someone's waiting at home is so poetic, that was literally the inspiration I needed to start my portfolio for my Potry course at uni. It will be about light and darness and I'll be sure to quote Jackson as the main inspiration for the theme. It just feels so relatable. About a week ago I was feeling bad and started crying in my room. It was late but I made sure to turn the light on, so that I wouldn't be as lonely. Light can be very comforting and almost become a supportive entity when there is no one to hug you.
FYI, this is actually a common saying among Chinese. Yes, Jackson is poetic, but leaving lights on like having someone waiting for you often appears in many Chinese pop songs and skits in the movie
Absolutely true! I suffer from mental health issues, one of them being CPTSD, and I developed night terrors at some point. Since then I always sleep with a comforting light (those supposed to be for children) and I can’t tell you how much it helped. This way when I wake up sweaty, yelling and in absolute panic I can see where I am and ground myself easily. Now I have a little panic when I forget to plug it in at night 😅
Jackson, BM, Peniel and Eric being roommates sounds like Eric appearing from somewhere with a lot of energy but losing it in a blink of an eye, Jackson and BM suddenly working out or doing karaoke with drinks and Peniel just doing Peniel things.
@@cricketunicorn I know Jackson is because of Got7, I know who Peniel is because I kind of like his group BtoB, and I know who Eric is through his videos like this. Never heard of BM or the group Kard but definitely checking them out now!
Jackson emotionally shatters me with his rawness. I want him to find the person in his life that will be that light at home for him to lean on.....no matter what that looks like to him. I absolutely NEED him to be happy and feel loved and supported in his most vulnerable moments. I cannot thank you enough for having him on the show and allowing him to be his authentic self. 🥹
Very encouraging, great that Eric knows his own personality while Jackson doesn't know how and where to start really. One thing at a time he will come out f it as he continues
I'm literally crying rn while eating as soon as Jackson talked about having a light on in his house so that he can feel like someone is waiting for him at home because I always do that too. I also always say "I'm home" when I get inside even when no one's there waiting for me. And thank you, Eric for having this platform where people (esp famous individuals who don't have any outlet) can share their thoughts and concerns about life without any judgement. And to everyone, famous or not, chasing what your dreams and goals can get really lonely and exhausting but we have to remind ourselves that it's okay to take breaks and slow down for a while because after all, we only have one body and mind so we have to take care of it. Take care of yourselves and always remember that you have a purpose and you are so loved! ❤️
Am I the only one who wants to just invite Jackson home for a warm soup and let him rest? Jackson, I know very well how you feel. I'm holding space for you. You're always welcome here.
conclusions from this episode: (1) jackson really wants to be roommates with eric, (2) jackson really wants to start a podcast, and (3) jackson really wants to be adopted by dive!! on a serious note, thank you jackson for being so open and vulnerable and thank you eric for being such a good listener, i thoroughly enjoyed and related to the conversation you guys had! we definitely need to have jackson on the show again ❤
We definitely need a podcast by Jackson Wang about identity, mental health and life struggles of people in the industry. Please Dive Studios make it happen 🙏
You can really tell that he's comfortable/ trusting to be open with Nam. But real talk, he said somethings that shows he( maybe bc his pass) had a hard time trusting. He kind of openly said he doesn't fully trust team
I really just love how Jackson Wang and Eric Nam are successful in their fields and remain humble. Both showed what true people and artists plus how dedicated they are to their work. They are so real. I want to be your friend you guys!!!
I think Jackson may have really needed this conversation maybe even more so than anyone else. He went there maybe as part of a schedule or because DIVE invited him but this gave me the feeling that it was much more than just that as the conversation went on. I hope Jackson feels supported and loved always!! And Eric, as always, this was a great interview and you really have a gold touch when it comes to people; you really make them feel so comfortable and open. I’m also glad of your response to Jackson and how you validated his emotions as well as empathized and made it a point to let him know you’re there for him. 🫶🏽
This episode with Jackson got me crying. I'm so touched by how real, raw and honest Jackson is. We need him in GET REAL please. Please invite him back to the Daebak show again. Gonna watch this show on repeat definitely. Jackson is such an inspiration and an incredible human being and artist. Just wanna give him a big warm hug 🥺🥺🫂🫂
During the conversation, it was very interesting when Jackson said the audience might be watching for entertainment or to feel good. I know I am watching the show but I never really thought about it as just for me to be entertained but to listen to this corner. I just liked how Jackson really explained everything. He was so honest during this. I feel like we idolize a lot of celebrities but in the end of the day they are just like us with insecurities and loneliness. I would love it if Jackson could have his own show/corner.
That part was interesting to me too. I watched to catch up on what he is up to because he is very intriguing. He should have a show or have a monthly takeover on the daebak show.
They are even more lonely because they are in the limelight. They are looked at under a microscope but don't know who really is by their side for them as a person or for the money and fame.
I agree with Eric 💯 when he says that people need to learn how to be okay being by themselves. Like, you cannot depend on others for your happiness. Only you can make yourself happy and that means you need to have mental awareness/mindfulness and knowing your true self which means you’ll need A LOT of self care. Wishing you the best Jackson ❤
I would love to see them go on a retreat or vacation type of thing for like a week, and see how they manage to be around each other for that long. Then, they could consider getting a place to move in together.
I've never wanted to give someone a massive hug more than I do right now listening to Jackson speak and how deeply and genuinely he speaks about the highs and lows of life.
Wang being kinesthetics and smelling the food, the drinks and touching the leaves to make sure they are fake or real is fantastic to me cos it shows how he connects to people, places and his surroundings. Then more I watch his interviews and talks the more I fall for him. He is just like the guy next door or that one friend you know you can ring to and meet up at 3 am to talk about life and cry with. Wang is definitely one of the human beings I truly would love to meet some day and have a seat, few drinks and talk about life whatnot.
I need more raw content between Eric and Jackson, it's insane how their touchy feely subjects are doing to my thoughts and emotions right now. Thank you to the both of you for opening up like this !!!
Jackson says: "everyday is a battle" that was really true, thats why we have to be strong in physical and mind for the people we love. I love how jackson being so honest and true in his answer. 😊😊
I feel for these artists that started out so young and worked in an industry that frowns upon them having a love life. There is such a difference from being extroverted and also having that intimate relationship with someone you can connect with privately. Aside from that, I would love to listen to a podcast with these two.
Bro, Jackson with that “light story” has got be feeling so damn emotional 😭😭 he’s always there for everyone else, but WHO IS THERE at the end of the day for him?? That’s his question to himself 😭😭 damn Jackson, my heart strings are being PLUCKED
Right now I’m grateful to Jackson. His last speech to audience catches my soul so bad (till tears). Because I needed to hear and recognize these words for a long time.
I just wanna hug him and re assure him everything will be okay, I discovered him like a week ago and I've never seen someone so real, if their is still good still left in this world, may he get someone to be there for him ❣
No clue this was going to turn into a therapy session. Not complaining at all- just thought it would be normal bro's hangin out and chillin and plugging his music. After this interview I really feel like Jackson is much more than music. I had no idea he was so deep like RM. Everything he said I felt like he was channeling Namjoon. I could totally picture Rm saying all that. I would love to listen to a podcast with you both. I really think it would be healing to so many out there.
@@jiminlover8212channeling namjoon just sounds so wrong to me... You have someone begging people to see him for him I don't think saying that is fair to him...
@Mel-jl8dt you missed my point. Let me rephrase it, Jackson and Namjoon are both very deep thinkers and share alot of the same feelings about how being an idol has effected their mental health. I would love for the 2 of them to eventually have a podcast together.
This had me hurting, and it had me wishing for a hug myself. I hope your home light is always on and warm Jackson. Thank you for your music and your honesty. Thank you
I've known him for 8 years. He is always been a ray of sunshine but even the sun itself needs to rest. I am always glad that he is always sharing with us: The hard and the most beautiful times. I am thankful for his presence. I've always admired his mindset, personality and the way of thinking. Eventhough I think that I know him -that how much he wants us to know him-, he always finds a way to surprise me. I got couraged somehow and it is just because of him. I've ben trying harder than ever for this 8 years. How much time I thank him is not enough to express my feelings. But I pray for him and I hope that he could do everything in his mind and what he wants but while doing them I wish he won't force himself to do things which will harm himself. You still have a beautiful life ahead Jackson and don't just waste it to do it better. You are already doing your best, can't you see that? I am just worried and greatful at the same time. Once you find your real light, I hope it shines your life more. Even if nobody agrees, I know you've worked and still working so hard. I know you did and doing your best. I AM PROUD OF YOU. I AM SO PROUD THAT THE MAN AND THE ARTIST YOU BECAME. I AM SO PROUD THAT YOU CAN NEVER IMAGINE.
The amount of healing and just soothing vibes in this episode? This was a therapy session! Like, this video, alone, is exactly what Mindset is all about and I'm here for it. Also, Jackson, it might not feel like it, but even when you're home alone, there are millions of us hoping the best for you and sending you so much positive energy and so much joy from our worlds to yours. I hope you feel our love, babe. ♥
As someone who loves Jackson, I really wish he finds home in someone's heart ❤️ I wish him the best in every way possible, success in love, business, music, entertainment, btw I miss those days when he appeared on variety shows. Lot's of love to Jackson and Eric.
eric and jackson makes me feel like i’m in a free therapy group session with them where i can relate and take advice from them. this is honestly healing for me
Honestly speaking, I started to watch this interview because I was interested in seeing how Jackson is doing. I wanted to see what he is up to and how he is. Of course is personality is what makes me watch him, he is so raw and honest and I love that. I love how open he was during this interview. I can tell that he went through a lot of things and maybe he is still going through a lot but I hope that he will get that person who will be home for him and hug him and tell him he did well everyday. Sending you hugs, you are doing so good. Never give up!
You could tell Jackson poured out all his emotions and thoughts in this video. I'm so glad he's opening up to Eric about his struggles and mental health. This talk was so genuine and he's seriously so inspiring
This fills a hole that was left when Jessi stopped doing Showterview. I love these platforms where the artists can just be real. Thank you Eric and Jackson for letting me peek into your hearts!
Jackson is so relatable. I hope he finds the person at home that's there to hug him. Its really hard to care so much burden without someone you can lean on.
i love how they went into a serious talk about loneliness then just suddenly started joking around. jackson is naturally have a good sense of humor! i love this duo so much
When Jackson said "when I go home, who's gonna be there for me? " It broke me. This whole episode was such a healing time for me. I've always been a fan of Jackson Wang, not the idol or the CEO or whatever, but the person he is; what makes Jackson Wang, Jackson Wang and I'll always remain inspired by him and support him. Thank you Eric. Thank you Jackson.
I've never cried watching an interview but god damn did Jackson make me cry. I'm so glad he was so honest and vulnerable throughout these 2 eps. Because i could relate to him on so many levels and things and so much of what he said was what I needed to hear. I'm so thankful to him and Dive studios and Eric for this. Thank you for being so vulnerable both of you, Jackson and Eric
I think something that also contributes to Jackson not necessarily liking living alone versus Eric is that unlike Eric, Jackson was a trainee & in a group he spent at minimum 10 years living with at least 6 other ppl or more. like even the introverted members of G7 have talked about living alone feeling super lonely for them that’s why they all have pets. 🥺
@@eehyetti they’re older now & they all need to learn to be okay with being alone🥲 it’s definitely been hard for all of them getting use to that but I think they started moving out at a good time. Jackson wants them to do a hard carry type of show too I think they eventually will in a few years:)
The fame has a really high price to pay, is a hard world to live in, is complicated to find real connections and people with good intentions and kind heart. It makes me sad to know that Jackson feels this way, I would never thought that, but and the same time I feel proud of you! And what you have become and how you manage your emotions and shows your vulnerability. You're a human too and you feel and suffer, it's okay to not be okay. I hope you can find the stability and strength that you need to achieve everything you want, always remember to take a break to keep your mind healthy, your fans appreciate you. Lots of love from Latin America ♡.
This is the best Eric interview I've seen, Jackson and him looked like family and make me feel part of their fun and also sorrow, i just felt the loneliness when Jackson talked about it, they both were genuine and sincere. I can see that Jackson is struggling with finding true meaningful bonds, and here he have a very real one, don't loose. Hope he feels our support, he is precious, PLEASE GIVE HIM A JOB IN DIVE, I can see clearly this crazy like brothers doing a podcast together!!!! 💛💛💛💛DIVE MAKE IT REAL PLEASE!
noooo. this episode made me cry 😭 everybody can relate somehow but him telling that to others? that's brave. really brave. I hope you will be happy genuinely, Jack. you inspired me in so many ways.
This is the most heartfelt I’ve ever heard a real idol K-pop person be so honest about everything this was the most amazing podcast I’ve heard. Like the fact that he opened up about things and felt comfortable with it is just so Amazing WOW HONESTLY LIKE 진짜 all my respect❤
I would loveeee Jackson to join because he's so fun, inspiring and honest all at the same time. We know it won't happen tho since this man always has an insane schedule but DAMN. I WISH.
i did not expect jackson to make me tear up. his solo work has always meant a lot to me & seeing him be this open & vulnerable w/ the audience is really special. it's exciting to see him do a legit world tour so all aghases have a chance to see him. can't wait till he is in the states bc i will most def be going!
This was so cool. Jackson was so raw and real. talking about leaving the light on to feel like there is someone to come home to resonated. I have no idea what it must be like to be an artist like Eric or Jackson, but I understand that kind of feeling. For me, after my husband died, I would leave a tv, computer or music on whenever I would go to sleep so the house wouldn't be silent. But I think it served a similar purpose. It must be so hard to know who cares about the real you vs the fact that you are a celebrity, which would make finding a partner who really has your back so much more difficult. I love Jackson's ending advice. I was 45 when my husband passed and I realized I wanted to do something different with my life. I went back to school, got my teaching cert., sold my house and moved to the bush in Alaska. Taught there for 3 years - now I'm teaching on an island and I love what I do. I still get annoyed and frustrated with some aspects of my job, but I can work 12-14+ hours and still love teaching. Find what you want and what you need to do - then do it. Thank you for this interview.
This was a chaotic emotional roller coaster ride from start to end. From the random drinking game to really painful topics to that really encouraging closer from Jackson at the end.. What a ride. Thanks for having Jackson he's such fantastic person and I hope he finds that someone to be there for him the way he's there for others.
Jackson is really himself here and it's not like any other interview or conversation where he can be this real and comfortable. I can relate to the loneliness he talks about even tho I'm an introvert ... I just hope he feels a little relieved and good after this conversation Always thanks to Eric for making everyone comfortable and having a heart to heart conversation
not me actually crying at Jackson's last message. Usually I really don't sit through videos like that (or any actually lol), but I've watched the 2 parts and listened very carefully. I took to heart so many things because basically maybe I'm at a place similar to where they started. I finally found what I want to do and I'm finally chasing my dream (which is to be a dancer in Korea so... it's somewhat close). But even if I found it, I still haven't done much of it so I'm sure I might still get to points where I question my place and what I'm doing or want to do, I don't know. It's already full of struggles but more than that it is full of happiness. Ever since I came to Korea I've been happy. Happy to be in this process of finding myself in a place where I feel like I should be. But I've also found that loneliness Jackson talked about when you get back home alone after a happy day with good people. So many things that Eric and Jackson talked about hit my heart in some way. Such amazing people, such amazing artists. Such inspiring people. I didn't even know... (only knew their names and some of their stuff but not a lot more). I wish that one day I will be able to say my thanks to them. Maybe when that day comes I will be knee deep in fulfilling my dreams and I could proudly say they pushed me even further. One thing for sure is that I already want to say thank you. Thank you Jackson. Thank you Eric. And thank you Dive Studios for being a platform that allowed this kind of conversation to get to us...
i wasn't gonna comment about this but as i rewatch i just can't ignore that as the episode goes by eric gets more and more concerned about jackson. this friendship is really pure and real and they've been there for each other for legit years and since the very start of jackson's career basically, so i can tell that eric for sure talked a lot with jackson after this episode ended.
I've been waiting for Jackson to come on Daebak Show for years and this amazing rapport with Eric is more than I imagined! Both so wise, intelligent, incredibly articulate, and fearlessly honest about themselves and their vulnerabilities. There's a magic here that's touched me deep inside. Jackson Dive Studios podcast, YES PLEASE. And also wonderful to know how Eddie has helped Jackson behind the scenes. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
Jackson just reminded us that he is human...he does get lonely and for him to say, after a long day who will be there to welcome him home. Who will be there give him a shoulder to lean on? Eric and him haven't seen each other for at least 2 years and it surprised him how honest Jackson was. People only see the fun-loving Jackson but we always forget that he is human, too.
This has been my all time favorite two part episodes to watch. Eric & Jackson's personalities are not always in sync but I love how well they balance with each of their differences yet still understand each other. I love this "raw & deep" side of daebak show. Sometimes I wonder why there has to be different podcasts when I would love to see "get real" and "daebak" and "mindset" all in one. Especially how deep and real things have been developing within each podcasts. I truly feel for Jackson and even Eric in what they go through even though I'm no artist but it's because in the end we are all simply human. Keep it coming dive studios! You are inspiring us all. I also got excited and can't wait for Jacksons podcast or their upcoming roommate show lol 😜👀🤭 I was always inspired by Jackson's humble actions and hardwork in his music so it's an honor to finally hear him out by speaking for himself and not just through social media articles. 💜😊💜
This conversation is beautiful. Eric pretty please, invite Jackson in your show regularly. Listening to you guys talk just made my day. I love every second of it. It’s so heartfelt.
I love both Eric and Jackson. The candid conversations and the rawness in this interview really shows me that this show is definitely the best one for K-pop stars to come into. I am praying for Eric to continue being that light to others as he interviews others. I’m proud to be a fan and I love his care and love to anyone he talks to. I’m praying for Jackson as he’s going through a lot of struggles (including the ones that he hasn’t mentioned). I know that God has great things in store for both gentleman and I pray that specifically Jackson finds a partner that he can come home to that will love him and he can confide in. 🫰🏼♥️🥹
Hearing Jackson I feel like he really needs a partner who's beside him, waits for him in his home, supports him, appreciates him. I really hope he finds Love and makes time for himself .
Agreed! I think he’ll be happiest when he is able to express himself via performance and production then coming home to a non-industry life partner. Who also tours with him maybe. 💜Someday, I know he’ll reach his peak happiness and satisfaction with life.
Love the honesty. As successful as Jackson is I'm sure he's surrounded by many with their own intentions. As long as you have 1 or 2 people you can count on. Your ahead in the game. But always look out for yourself. 💜🤩
Jackson Wang needs a warm, comfortable home. It sounds to me like a good partner in life that would make him feel safe, supported, and someone he can care for and just have a one warm hug/embrace without any other ulterior motives but to be there for the human and person of Jackson Wang.
Sometimes humor and smiles are the mask we wear to hide the lonely from the world. I’m 28 now and I’ve had to find my life balance. I get coming home alone and leaving a light on. Through therapy, and reflection, I realized that I need to focus on my life. Now I have an hour or 30 min every day that I have me time (a long bubble bath, dance in the kitchen to music) you have to designate people like the parts of a tree, some are fickle like leaves, some are tricky like branches (all it takes is a storm for them to ghost you) and the “roots” those who pour into your soul and life as much as you do for them. A tree only needs a few roots to survive. I have three playlists for those moments. Therapy has helped a lot with that. I get home and I have two friends that I can call 24/7 that I can call, when I need a shoulder or a listening ear and it makes the difference.
Jackson Wang I really want to just give you the biggest and most warmest hug ever. You Des ever nothing but all the god things this world have to offer. I really want you to be happy inside and out. I’m always here supporting you and will continue to do so. You’re such an amazing, hard-working young man. No words can express how proud I am of you. I love you so much truly
jackson saying he doesn't know who he can trust around him makes me so sad and how he feels lonely when his day is over and how a simle light greets him home. i was really glad when Eric said he would talk to him off camera cuz i feel like eric is someone jackson can lean on..... this episode was amazing
This is a great, its incredible to see Jackson so honest and at the end of the day we are all human. He is an amazing artist and an amazing person. I really hope that he inspires everyone and comforts us in hard times.
Jackson is literally so real. I love him. He feels like a comfort person, like a friend not just an idol. This felt like getting advice and listening to my older brother.❤️🩹
I hadn't really known who Jackson Wang is (yes I've been living under a rock it seems) - I've heard of his name but had not known who he is, what he has done, or watched any of his work. Curiosity struck today and watching this as an introduction to the person he is.. I feel glad and appreciative for his presence, his honesty, and his vulnerability. Thank you to Jackson for being real, for sharing, and for being human. Watching this in 2024, I hope he is in a better space within himself and continues doing what he wants to do. Much love from a fellow human bean x
give this man a contract already. he's so committed argh. also, i hope this guy finds a genuinely good person to come home to. its a heartfelt wish (so rare coming from me) i am gonna come back to this interview whenever i need to pull myself back together. as a fellow lonely person, the solitude is so relatable and i am definitely giving into his light bulb idea. ALSO, DIVE YOU BETTER SIGN HIM. OR ELSE I AM COMING FOR YOU! THAT MAN LOVES YOU
I definitely can comprehend what Jackson is going through. I see myself in him. He's his own worst critic, no matter what he does, it never seems good enough, he attracts people to him, he loves people, but once he's alone, he feels lonely. Basically, there for everyone else, but who's there for me? I'm not a celebrity, rich, or definitely on the scale of Jackson, but life get so hard sometimes. What I do is pray, try and meditate, run,to take my mind off of some things. Jackson is a very deep thinker, and so humble, that's what I love about him. Just hope he takes care of himself, mentally and physically, and try and slow down, even it's just for a little bit,and smell the roses. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m not really a ‘feelings’ person but this made me cry. I thank Jackson for being so raw and Eric and Dive Studios for giving him the place to share his stories. Every single thing he said was relatable and I really liked when Jackson talked directly to the audience, it hit different. I totally support the idea of a podcast; generally speaking I watch Dive Studios for entertainment but I specially watched these two episodes because of Jackson, it’s always a pleasure to listen to his points of view, stories, etc. I find him really wise. It would be nice that you receive emails with stories from fans about the topic of the video and/or the answers to the same questions the artists gets and comment about some of them in a video. If you were to open a Dive Studios cafe, fans could do the same and even create a sort of book by arranging the notes together and include the artists’ too to somehow encourage one another. Just saying, these ideas just came to my mind.
Eric you better make Jackson's podcast happen!!!! This was such an amazing time . To see a side a Jackson we have never seen before. A house with all of yall would be like when Jackson filmed the roommate show but much more real and hilarious. I just what to hug Jackson and give him a dog to wait for him when he comes home.
Omg that show was also so much fun! Imagine him shooting a roommate show with some people who is close to him 💚 That way he can always have people at home 🥲
As an INFJ myself, you have no idea how much I loved this episode. And since I'm an atheist, I'll pray to the universe for you to find a special someone to hug when you get home. ❤️
It's so true that watching someone be so vulnerable can bring comfort and introspection for the viewer. Hope Jackson can find that someone or something to comfort him and be there for him when he needs it. We all deserve that♡
I really enjoyed this interview. I loved it when we got into mental health, and discussed that fan sent question because I found myself answering the same way. I enjoyed how both Eric and Jackson were so open and willing to share their struggle stories with mental health and I think listening to both of them helped give me some answers and ideas on dealing with mental health

I need captions for the parts where they are talking in Korean please 😭😁
We actually need a spin off series of Eric and Jackson living together, like their chemistry is something else, please.... For our entertainment
I hope Jackson will soon meet someone who waits for him to come home. He deserves to be loved wholeheartedly. It brought tears to my eyes knowing the emptiness he feels when he’s alone.

after he launched magic man he said that he would like to know how he really is and how he feels so now he is not afraid to say it
I think what Jackson's worried about is not being able to create more than he wanted. Not just for fans but for himself as an artist. Artists have this yearning to produce new things. It's the art and the process. Cause like he said, he's worried about time and that he feels he needs to make better things despite the fans actually saying they like what he makes.
You have to listen and watch to the interviews where he is promoting his interviews. He being really open about it
jackson needs a podcast called 'unscripted' and he needs to invite lots of people to just talk about life, i would listen the heck out of that
word. i would just listen to that on my way to work.
Fact.
i need this in my life u dont understand
U said exactly what’s in my head! His podcast’s gonna blow cuz Jackson’s such a natural in carrying out meaningful yet entertaining conversations ++ u alwiz leave taking away smth inspiring! 🩷
totally agree
I love how Jax asked "why dont WE have a Dive Studio cafe?" Like, he 's like, "I'm part of this now". He's legit is forcing DIVE to adopt him 🤣
Ikr 😂
he just wants to be part of the family... of A family in general.
I’m a psychotherapist. I think what Eric told Jackson 20:20 was fascinating to hear. Empathetic, supportive and and genuine ❤
😂😂😂

"I always leave a light on home, so when i come back I feel like 'Welcome back home' greeting"
JACKSON! YOU ARE SUCH AMAZING HUMAN!
Whilst i just leave the light on so no one would rob me lol😅
thats kind of an energy waste tho but i do understand him
@@k0bsessed my family too.. we learn it from home alone. Actually we have a timer ahahhahahaha
Hoping you find a way out of your slump. You got this :) be strong
damn i started crying
Keep fighting girl! We got this
Absolutely true!
I can’t wait tbh
'Peniel just doing Peniel things' lmaoooo
Who is BM?
@@Kpopnoona90 He’s from KARD! And he’s so dope, all their members are, definitely worth checking out.
@@cricketunicorn I know Jackson is because of Got7, I know who Peniel is because I kind of like his group BtoB, and I know who Eric is through his videos like this. Never heard of BM or the group Kard but definitely checking them out now!
Eric's interviewing skills is top notch. And Jackson is just the right energy. Sending him love and light. May that light stay on for you always.
hello, thanks for your beautiful comments and thank you for your support and positive vibes too... where are you from??
Jackson emotionally shatters me with his rawness. I want him to find the person in his life that will be that light at home for him to lean on.....no matter what that looks like to him. I absolutely NEED him to be happy and feel loved and supported in his most vulnerable moments. I cannot thank you enough for having him on the show and allowing him to be his authentic self. 🥹
I think Eric is one ❤
I love how Jackson rejects all the variety show set ups. He just wants to have an open conversation whether it's deep or humor filled!!! 🤍

@@jacksonwang5257 You are scum. Why would you scam people by pretending to be someone so amazing. You are NOT jackson.
Jackson is finally expressing what he really feels, a lot of people see him as the funny guy but they don't know how he really is.
Very encouraging, great that Eric knows his own personality while Jackson doesn't know how and where to start really. One thing at a time he will come out f it as he continues
much love to Jackson aka my future roommate ... enjoyed this real talk as always!
Eric ?! …. Like THE Eric Nam ?!?
bro I love you ❤️ thanks for the great concert here at Dallas Texas
Loved this supportive conversation between two lovely humans xoxo
Listening to you hold space is inspiring. Thank you. INFPs tend to be amazing at helping people feel safe to be vulnerable and authentic.
Food and cuddles. Absolutely
conclusions from this episode: (1) jackson really wants to be roommates with eric, (2) jackson really wants to start a podcast, and (3) jackson really wants to be adopted by dive!! on a serious note, thank you jackson for being so open and vulnerable and thank you eric for being such a good listener, i thoroughly enjoyed and related to the conversation you guys had! we definitely need to have jackson on the show again ❤
CONCLUSION: Jackson Wang can finish the whole alcohol bottle ALL by himself. 🤣🤣
4. we're all ready to adopt Jackson and show him the love he deserves
We definitely need a podcast by Jackson Wang about identity, mental health and life struggles of people in the industry. Please Dive Studios make it happen 🙏
YES
You can really tell that he's comfortable/ trusting to be open with Nam. But real talk, he said somethings that shows he( maybe bc his pass) had a hard time trusting. He kind of openly said he doesn't fully trust team
I really just love how Jackson Wang and Eric Nam are successful in their fields and remain humble. Both showed what true people and artists plus how dedicated they are to their work. They are so real. I want to be your friend you guys!!!
I am a Christian and Jesus Christ loves you. Thanks. Amen.
“Everyone’s a diamond that’s not been seen yet.” -Jackson 2023
That’s a bar right there
I think Jackson may have really needed this conversation maybe even more so than anyone else. 🫶🏽

Being someone who has followed Jackson for a long time, all of a sudden, he feels soooo matured, so serious, so grown up.
Yes he does 😭😭he’s so grown

You've put into words what I wanted to say but didn't know how
@@ashby7m thank you! I wasn’t even sure if what I wrote made any sense but I still wanted to leave a comment.
They are even more lonely because they are in the limelight. They are looked at under a microscope but don't know who really is by their side for them as a person or for the money and fame.
@@lin90210 this is very true
Jackson saying his worry is knowing who's really there for him just broke my heart
Can't even imagine what chaos would go down in a house rooming Jackson, BM, Peniel and Eric😂
The legendary frat AU 🤣
I would love to see them go on a retreat or vacation type of thing for like a week, and see how they manage to be around each other for that long. Then, they could consider getting a place to move in together.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in that house. Just to see the chaos ensue. It would be so funny omg.
Also is that a Cutie Pie ZeeNuNew pfp??? Lol

you need to have Jackson do MINDSET. His rawness, honesty and struggles made me admire him more. Thank you.
Yess we NEED him on mindset !
I agree with you!! The more I listen to him, I’m liking him more!!😊
I love when Jackson said " Trust your own gut feeling, you're the special one."

I need more raw content between Eric and Jackson, it's insane how their touchy feely subjects are doing to my thoughts and emotions right now. Thank you to the both of you for opening up like this !!!
Let’s be honest, Eric you wouldn’t be able to handle Jackson 😭
Truth be told
No one can😂😂😂

No one can handle Jackson 😂
Jackson says: "everyday is a battle" that was really true, thats why we have to be strong in physical and mind for the people we love. I love how jackson being so honest and true in his answer. 😊😊
I feel for these artists that started out so young and worked in an industry that frowns upon them having a love life. There is such a difference from being extroverted and also having that intimate relationship with someone you can connect with privately. Aside from that, I would love to listen to a podcast with these two.
If Eric didnt wrap this up, we would have 5 parts of this podcast. I love when Jackson just likes to talk nonstop, it is so inspiring!

I just wanna hug him and re assure him everything will be okay, I discovered him like a week ago and I've never seen someone so real, if their is still good still left in this world, may he get someone to be there for him ❣
Jackson was so real and you could see how concerned Eric looked. I hope Jackson can comeback soon because this video was very comforting.
Hearing Jackson i remembered why I am a got7 fan... They remind my humanity
Such a beautiful message 🥺
As someone who loves Jackson, I really wish he finds home in someone's heart ❤️ I wish him the best in every way possible, success in love, business, music, entertainment, btw I miss those days when he appeared on variety shows. Lot's of love to Jackson and Eric.
eric and jackson makes me feel like i’m in a free therapy group session with them where i can relate and take advice from them. this is honestly healing for me
You just precisely describe how I feel !! So relatable!
Its really hard to care so much burden without someone you can lean on.
i love how they went into a serious talk about loneliness then just suddenly started joking around. jackson is naturally have a good sense of humor! i love this duo so much
The reason Jackson leaves the lights on at home hurts in ways I cant explain😭😭😭😭Also Eric whats stopping u... live with the man😄😄
When Jackson said "when I go home, who's gonna be there for me? " It broke me.
This whole episode was such a healing time for me.
I've always been a fan of Jackson Wang, not the idol or the CEO or whatever, but the person he is; what makes Jackson Wang, Jackson Wang and I'll always remain inspired by him and support him. Thank you Eric. Thank you Jackson.
You can feel the weight of the world on Jackson's shoulders.
Eric and Daebak Show is a haven for these artists and for us, too.
I wish they lived together like before and shoot shows like hard carry..
@@eehyetti they’re older now & they all need to learn to be okay with being alone🥲 it’s definitely been hard for all of them getting use to that but I think they started moving out at a good time. Jackson wants them to do a hard carry type of show too I think they eventually will in a few years:)
AS AN INTROVERT IM SOOO ERIC. 😭
Jackson n Eric are such amazing persons being. All the love, yall deserve it.
Paraguay Hereee!
Lots of love from Latin America ♡.
hello, thanks for your beautiful comments and thank you for your support and positive vibes too... where are you from??
This is the best Eric interview I've seen, Jackson and him looked like family and make me feel part of their fun and also sorrow, i just felt the loneliness when Jackson talked about it, they both were genuine and sincere. I can see that Jackson is struggling with finding true meaningful bonds, and here he have a very real one, don't loose. Hope he feels our support, he is precious, PLEASE GIVE HIM A JOB IN DIVE, I can see clearly this crazy like brothers doing a podcast together!!!! 💛💛💛💛DIVE MAKE IT REAL PLEASE!
We need to bring Jackson more in this show. He is so real.
noooo. this episode made me cry 😭 everybody can relate somehow but him telling that to others? that's brave. really brave. I hope you will be happy genuinely, Jack. you inspired me in so many ways.
Wanting to know who’s really there for you … that hit so hard. Many blessings and happiness Jackson and Eric.

I WISH.
Jackson Wang's Mindset...this is what I need.
i did not expect jackson to make me tear up. his solo work has always meant a lot to me & seeing him be this open & vulnerable w/ the audience is really special. it's exciting to see him do a legit world tour so all aghases have a chance to see him. can't wait till he is in the states bc i will most def be going!
Thank you for this interview.
have listened to Jackson's episodes multiple times and i hope you guys invite him for Magic Man 2 again. it's so good to listen to Jackson.
This episode is so emotional. Hug and pat on the back for Jackson. He seems really a good and kind person.
Jackson is really himself here and it's not like any other interview or conversation where he can be this real and comfortable.
I can relate to the loneliness he talks about even tho I'm an introvert ... I just hope he feels a little relieved and good after this conversation
Always thanks to Eric for making everyone comfortable and having a heart to heart conversation
not me actually crying at Jackson's last message.
That's why he needs Eric as his roomie!!!
Much love from a fellow human bean x
give this man a contract already. he's so committed argh. also, i hope this guy finds a genuinely good person to come home to. its a heartfelt wish (so rare coming from me)
i am gonna come back to this interview whenever i need to pull myself back together. as a fellow lonely person, the solitude is so relatable and i am definitely giving into his light bulb idea.
Jackson thanks for being so raw just know you are not alone. All of us are here for both of you. Holding out for the podcast.
Part two? Y’all really went all out for Jackson who else got a part two 😂?
No one yet!
And I would even like a part 3 😭
Dive loves Jackson for sure. I think he has the longest Get Real episode too 😅
Unlimited please...
Give us an entire season, we'll take it 🤝🏻
This time I really felt Jakson was so honest and shared so personal stuff, he is so amazing in many ways and I really admire him!
Bro Jackson and Eric together=epic show🤠
As an INFJ myself, you have no idea how much I loved this episode.
