Yes, I like this type of casual topic. I think sometimes it's nice to splurge on a thing like lip balm. Someone's I wear it more than regular lipstick. Especially in winter. It's the kind of thing I might use for touch up quickly if I don't have time for the full maintenance of another lip product. The orangy one is amazing and feels special in and of itself!
Yes, I totally get what you mean with the special occasion splurge. I still remember the special lipstick I bought on an anniversary trip years ago and different things like that. It's nice to attach a product to an occasion or a special milestone in life :D
I would love to see a drugstore version of this! Fancy packaging doesn't really draw me in but I'd consider buying something more expensive if it truly could heal dry cracked lips while giving my lips some color.
I just read an article about this that had surprising advice. Apparently, most of the higher priced lip balms contain humectants (like hyaluronic acid, etc.) Humectants attract moisture (which you'd think would be a good thing for lips). The issue is that the lips are so thin that the humectants attract the moisture from inside the lips as well... Making them dry out. The dermatologist in the article recommends to just use basic balms that have a more emollient base (like petroleum) to just lock the moisture in the lips and not attract any moisture from within them.
That is so counterintuitive! I've always thought that HA was the best for lips. Did the derm say anything about oils on the lips? I'll have to find that article myself because that is so interesting!
Hi Emily! I use Aquaphor every night before bed...I also use Milani’s lip sugar scrub and Milani’s lip balm. I know it’s drugstore but the packaging makes me feel like it’s highend😉
Connie I was just thinking about those Milani lip products when I saw them in Walmart the other day. I was wondering if I should give them a go! They do look pretty!!
Emily Noel I love Milani’s products...would soooo love to see a review on their new stuff! The makeup section at my Walmart is definitely my happy zone!😁
Mish mash I might have to check those out...my Walmart is restocking and reorganizing their beauty dept so maybe they will get those in. If not there’s always Walgreens! 😁👍
I feel "the balm," Emily! As far as workhorses, the Lansinoh, and Bite Agave Lip Mask are my faves. I do love the Buxom Mini Lip Balms. Yes I want to see a full size, it must be gigantic!! Your nails look perfect next to the beautiful YSL balm tube. Blessings, and love..MaryEllen
Emily and Mary Ellen have either of you tried Hanalei lip treatment? I got the clear but they’re available in a few shades. I like it much better than the Laneige and Bite. Loved the video!
Cindy, I have not tried that lip treatment. Looked it up, and will give it a try when I get through some of my products. The Laneige is nice, but not in my top 3 lip treatments.
@@cindymacs1494 hey girl. I got the hanalei lip treatment in my ipsy like last year and I use it all the time and am finally running low. I really like how light it feels and I can use it under lipsticks and it makes my lips really soft.
After watching your Sephora gift card video, I immediately bought that Buxom set. These are FANTASTIC, use them everyday. I love a comfortable tinted lip balm for my everyday makeup look.
I loved this so much!! I always forget about high end lip balms and this made me want to run to sephora. I loved that you talked about makeup that you’re truly passionate about regardless of if it’s “trendy.”
Emily your true love and obsession for makeup is what keeps me coming back to your channel. I feel like I finally found someone who understands my own deep love of makeup. Your passion and excitement for it makes me so happy. And you're not alone it's not even my job but I think about makeup everyday too.
You are absolutely adorable! I love the passion and delight in your voice, expression, and your eyes. You’re always so animated, but I could feel you inwardly squealing with happiness! I really love the Fresh Advanced Therapy as well. It doesn’t stay on long because I’m sure I keep licking my lips. Love the lemony flavor. I apply it at bedtime and awaken in the morning with my lips feeling like buttah! I get what you’re saying about the Guerlain tube. It’s like an accessory kind of in the vein of jewelry or a chic handbag. Looks great with your white nails! How’s that for justification?? 😘
Pacifica has an AAAAAMAAAZING lip balm in bullet form - it looks like a sheer luxury lipstick but it's so moisturizing, like a treatment. Just a hint of tint and ton of moisture!
The CG Oh sugar were so good and dupes for Fresh lip balms. Wish they still had them. Have you tried the mini 🍒 Vaseline they sell? It works as well as aquaphor but has that faint tint to it. Chapstick came out with tinted ones that are great at hydration, not that waxy stuff they used to make.
Lisa Bailes it’s in a mini Vaseline jar. I would love if they could put it in a squeeze tube or something too. That’s the only draw back, have to stick your finger in it or use a lip brush. I still think it’s worth it. Have one on my nightstand for bedtime.
As someone with dry lips I love tinted balms and I totally understand why you love them. I am somewhat new to RUclips makeup videos, and I want to tell you how much I LOVE watching your videos. Your love for makeup and your genuineness shines through. It keeps me coming back. Please don’t change a thing. Thank you Emily. You are THE BEST!!
Connie, Kissing Sticks, Potion and Dr Pepper Lipsmackers just brought me back to middle school! Thank you for this memory, I needed something sentimental tonight you delivered! ❤❤
The Kissing Sticks (as well as Kissing Potion) are available online and now produced by Tinte Cosmetics. They also sell the Village Lip Lickers Lip Balm in the little slide-top tins. Blast from the past! 😊 💖 👍🏻 www.tintecosmetics.com
Emily, thank you for ALWAYS being real! It’s refreshing to know that you will talk about something as needed as lip balm. I have at least 3 on my nightstand. I have one I use before putting on my lip color for the day (I put it on while I work on my eyes and foundation then wipe it off just before I put my color on so that my lips are hydrated. Nothing worse than dry, chapped lips when you want to look nice!) and I always have one in every handbag or backpack. You totally rock!!!💋
Love your channel Emily! 💕Could you do some more videos on work and professional makeup looks? I’m relatively new to makeup and would also like to learn how to apply different makeup products and your tips/tricks to avoid mistakes that beginners may make. 😊I’m having issues with creasing in my under eye concealer ... Any tips/tricks or specific product recommendations?
Great question Emily! I treated myself to a Clairins Lip tinted lip balm recently, which is WAY more than I would ever pay for one normally, but was feeling like I wanted a little pampering. I love the colour I got, which is a coral shade, but I found that I kept going over and over it, trying to get more colour out of the product. I love how it feels, but I guess I'm used to the colour payoff I get from a lipstick. Yesterday I wore my new Dior lipstick in "Why Not", which is a juicy orange/coral shade, and I LOVE it. Goes on like a dream, lightweight, creamy, and lasts for hours. I do feel much more glamorous when I wear high end, I must admit, although I find it hard to spend the money. I did love this video concept. It felt like sitting and having coffee with a friend, and chatting about our latest makeup finds. You are so dynamic girl. Sending you massive love from Canada!
Yes, do the drugstore lip balm run down please! 😊 Also am I the only one that finds the Fresh lip balm original drying to the lips? You've made me curious about the newer version though.
I just love watching how excited you get when discussing anything makeup related. It shows how much you actually really love & are passionate about what your doing. This is what makes your channel stand out in a sea of others💞
My go-to cheap lip balm is Dr. Bronner's Orange Ginger Organic Lip Balm. The avocado, jojoba and hemp seed oils are nourishing and for me, the orange and ginger have a subtle plumping affect. I put a layer on under any lipstick and the lip color is there but with a little buttery shine affect. Love it!
Emily, thank you so much for this video! I'm a PhD student studying for my qualifying exams, and a lot of my research is about stuff that is often really difficult to deal with, and I appreciate coming here and watching your videos to lift my spirits and get me through stressful days.
I don't get why I need to pay more for a lipbalm as well. Certainly not for the pigmentation, staying power or even the sunscreen. It's so First World... 😔
I feel like I can justify the cost of a balm more than a lipstick because I know I'll definitely use all of it. I don't know the last time I went through an entire tube of lipstick.
I loved this! Would also love to hear how each one wears! I don’t love lipstick on a daily basis but LOVE lip balm and would love to know which one wears more like a lipstick in terms of lasting power and which one keeps your lips the most moisturized ... I love the fresh one but don’t find it always lasts super well or keeps my lips moisturized
Em, girl you are an inspiration to so many, your honest, your not fake, you are the real deal! You were the first mua I subscribed to, I've been with you since the beginning girl! The most beautiful things about social media are the women like you, who generally love what you do, you can not be bought, your trusted and you know it's never in the numbers girl, it's in our lives you touch! That truth that rawness that love is never a show, it's really you!, I love you girl 🙌🙌❣😘
I am completely obsessed with lip balms of all shades and prices, LOL! I used to feel guilty about buying high end lip balms. I felt like it was silly or wasteful. And then I realized, why WOULDN'T I invest in the products I use most. It's sort of like buying nice ballet flats for everyday wear, but buying the heels at Payless because I'll wear them 4 times a year. hahaha.
As someone with perpetually dry lips that was allergic to all balms bar vaseline forEVER and only recently started being able to wear lipstick and tinted balms, BLESS YOU FOR THIS. my lippie fever is being fed and I'm okay with it!
I loved your little chat at the end. Besides your sweet personality and fantastic content, your obvious love of makeup is the reason that I have loyally watched your videos for years and years. It is so nice to witness someone doing something that they are clearly passionate about. You keep the fun and joy in the beauty community ♥️
I normally don't watch your (or anyone's) lip videos. I use 4 lipsticks and that's it ... but was excited to see this video. My 15 year old plays a cornett and trumpet in a brass band and in the Ulster youth Orchestra so her lips really take a battering... so much so that despite constantly moisturisering them, she cannot wear lipstick. I bought her the clairns rose tinted oil and we've been looking at purchasing 1 or 2 of the highend colour lipstick balms. Will let her see this when she gets in from practice. Perfect video for us.
It's amazing to me that you can talk and apply lipstick at the same time! I confess: I like the Tatcha lip gloss, which feels like a lip treatment. I use a little over lipsticks in winter, and it keeps the color of the lipstick and makes them fade evenly. And I'm bummed that Smashbox O-glow (tinted) seems to be discontinued. I kept that around for when my lips were really a winter mess.
Loved this video concept! The Pat McGrath balms are my jam lately. I also have the Love Supreme & recently picked up Blow Up. If I want to amp it up a bit, I’ll add my Lancome lip liners in Ideal or Bronzelle & it’s so good! Also a big fan of the Nars orgasm balm.
Yes please drugstore tinted lip balms!! Also, try the Paula's Choice lip balm in the little pots. I hate that it's in the little pots, but I put up with it because it makes my lips softer and more hydrated than anything else. I swear it plumps my lips too, just because the skin is so we'll moisturized and bouncy.
Love this concept! Bite Beauty agave lip balm, 18$ & lip mask 26$... nothing has ever been so good for my lips. Balm is skincare for your lips, I'm here for it. Cheaper balms can do the trick but I don't feel like they actually heal your lips. It's the type of product you have to use every day, your lips become dependent on them. However a good lip balm will heal your lips and you can forgo using the product for a while and still notice the benefits. Also the packaging tends to be more luxurious. Just bought a YSL tint in balm !!
I'll pay more for a lip product with a better base (cocoa or murumuru butter) but I won't pay a high price for a fancier component containing petroleum based products. That's my line in the sand.
Loved this relaxed video! I too am a luxury lipbalm junkie. I have so many of the ones you were talking about (guerlain, bobbi brown, fresh, YSL). i also adore the clarins Kiss Kiss lipbalms, which have a similar effect of the je ne sais quoi lipbalm. Will def be trying the addition of the lipliner. Thanks for the tip and all this wonderful information! You truly are the best beauty blogger in my book ❤️
Emily, if you do decide to do a video on drugstore tinted lip balms, I’m curious to know what you think of the newer ChapStick Total Hydration Moisture + Tint collection. I’ve been using Flaunt It Fuchsia and Rose Petal for a while now and, although I have to reapply them often, they’re a nice way to add color to my lips without having to put on lipstick. They also keep my lips smooth and moisturized, which can’t be said about all lipsticks (or even other lip balms). There are a variety of shades available. It’d be interesting to see swatches/a try-on of some or all of them, if possible. Thank you!
I listened to you and picked up the buxom set after Christmas in serious discount, such a great purchase! I say spend your money on what you use most... I USE balms, so I don’t mind paying for luxury. They also last SO long so I think it’s better then splurging on a lux mascara that will dry out.
Honestly, I really dislike most “cheap” lip balms I’ve used, they feel gross on my lips, almost a plasticky feel. I started using more expensive balms back when Fresh debuted theirs and honestly for a long time I thought nothing else could ever be better than that stuff because it was so smooth and luscious feeling on my lips. But then last year I splurged on the Dior Lip Glow when they extended the shade range and I was honestly just blown away. I love lipstick, but ever since I got the Lip Glow I’ve pretty much only worn it.... it feels so amazing, it smells amazing, it looks like I have plump, sexy natural lips when I wear it. Just, honestly, when it comes to lip balm I don’t think I’ll ever go back to drug store products. Foundation, powder, mascara, sure but definitely NOT lip balm hahaha!
Love your rambles I could never get tired of hearing you talk about your love and passion for makeup!!! U inspire us to enjoy what we have and really live in that experience of putting on something that makes us feel amazing and I love you for that 😘💕
I love that you are using the liner/balm combination. I started doing that in the late 80's. It was a more acceptable way for a young adult to wear lip color in my family and I have been doing it every since. I thought I was the only one who ever did that. :)
A good drugstore dupe for these is the Catrice - Volumizing Lip Balm. It's cooling, has a very nice texture and is infused with shea butter. The packaging is also cute.
As someone who has chronically chapped lips (they peel and crack all year round), I don't really see the value in paying more for fancy ingredients because I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that my lips will always be this way and nothing has ever truly made a difference (I've tried my fair share of lip balms). But some of them do dry out my lips even more and it makes me believe that some lip balms have an addictive quality to them, like they feel good when you first apply them but since they don't really moisturise and dry your lips out more you have to keep reapplying it (and keep repurchasing it). But does it stop me from buying every lip balm I see in the hopes that one of them will do miracles ? nope ^^ loove these casual topic videos !
Hi Emily, I'd be curious to see what goodies are in your current skincare routine. What are your "in a rush" go to products, and what are your "indulgent extras"? Are you into serums? Masks? etc etc etc :)
For the first time I used the Bite beauty agave sugar scrub and slept in the Bite beauty lip balm. They came in the 2018 Sephora Birthday Box. My lips feel amazing this morning.
I have the YSL one just because I couldn’t resist the packaging 🙈 it’s so beautiful & lives in my handbag. I’m relying on the Bobbi brown extra repair moisture balm (in the pot) at home at the minute though for my really chapped lips.
Please do a drugstore one too!! I need it, you've definitely made me want the Buxom lip balms now, but I'd love some more affordable options too! There's nothing I find more attractive for a lip look than that "bitten, flushed" look that those dark, sheer colors give!!
My lip balm addiction began in junior high with Bath & Body Works tinted/flavored lip balm in a pot. I still always have some sort of balm on hand...one by my bed, one with spf in my purse, another with my post-shower supplies, and a more intense lip treatment for overnight.
Yes! Drugstore version please. You didn’t do a whole heck of a lot to convince me I DIDN’T need to buy at least one of these! The experience seems well worth it! I’m personally having a hard time deciding between the super lux ones. I like the guerlain one for the color and the ysl for the fresh look and super lux packaging.
So funny that I came across this video! I was just showing my husband the limited edition YSL Valentine’s Day balms and about how even though they are $38 I just have to have them. There is something about luxury balms that I just love also!
What a super video. It was genius to show 'bolder' shades for balms. Now you have a makeup look with a great treatment. Would you do a video with that eye look? I have the Sultry palette and the cooler shades look is so flattering
Love that you have a new obsession with lip products! I do, too. Please do a review of the drugstore balms! I’m trying the new Physicians Formula ones.
I love the Fresh Sugar balms but my all time favorite balm is Chapstick Total Hydration in Eucalyptus Mint. I go through about a tube every couple of weeks. It does what the Sugar balm does for me and I stock up when they are on sale.
I love having a bunch of different ones, but I did purchase a $14 Korres lip balm because I got it from a friend first and just loved it. I never usually spend much on lip balms, but it was just worth it. My other favorite luxury one is the Sugar Fresh lip treatment... That's next on my list when I am out of the Korres.
Hi Emily! My day-to-day lip balm is Burt's Bees. I'm from southwestern Ontario (Canada), and the winters are cold and dry. I've also lived in the Middle East and Asia...I also get cold sores (gross-I'm sorry!), but Burt's works best for me. However, in terms of expensive lip balms, I still love Korres lip butters (which Sephora no longer carries!), Kopari's Coconut Lip Glossys and Laneige's Lip Sleeping Mask. I have a sample size Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment (clear), and it's okay, but it's not the best. What bothers me about lip balms, regardless of the price tag, is when they don't hydrate (that's Rosebud Salve for me)--or worse--when they dry your lips out, which is what Vaseline does to my lips :(
I'm obsessed with the Dior Lip Glow. It's a balm, tint, and gloss all in one. It gives you a sheer wash of pink that is so luxurious and smells like vanilla mint. It's the only luxury product I will always repurchase.
The packaging of the YSL balm is stunning. I've got to bite the bullet and treat myself to one. I have a drawer full of the Buxom gloss/balms that have the minty tingle and absolutely love them. Great video. Thank you! :)
I like to use the Vaseline Lip Therapy ( Rose Lips) as a “mask” while I put on my makeup. It works really well, especially when my lips get very dry this time of year. But I don’t find it to be very travel friendly. So for on-the-go, I like to keep a Burt’s Bees lip balm with me :)
I love expensive lip balms. I almost feel like I can justify it even more than any other lip product because I always use it and I always carry one with me. I feel like no matter what lip product I start my day with, I end up with a lip balm to end my day. My fave is the YSL TIN IN BALMS (the original with the color lips in the core of the bullet) I’m dying to try the new ones with the black heart. Another fave of mine are the TOM FORD color lip balms. They feel amazing! Emily, i would also recommend to try the YSL tint in oils. They are my all time faves!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect video for a fellow lip balm fanatic! You've given me ideas on new ones to try. And yes! please do a drugstore version. I'd love to know your thoughts on the tinted drugstore balms.
Eos, O'Keefes, and Nivea are my go-to lip balms. If you can find them at Aldi, check out the Lacura lip balms. They're fruity, beeswax based and you get 3 for $2 and they are AMAZING!!! They were seasonal for Christmas so I dont know if your store will still have them.
Oh squeal...... yes on the drugstore balms! So the difference between lipstick vs balms are the ingredients? Like the fat ratio to flour is the difference between being a cake or muffin? ...... the same but in different ratios? I’m needing me some Buxom! I use color tinted neutrogena goes on a bit streaky, kind of waxy and can be messy on the container.
Emily Noel i never repurchase things I have repurchased soo many The original is great They have an orangey peachy one And they have some new shades too that look amazing I have the driest lips that are bleeding and flaky so this is essential Also try nuxe lip balm in a pot ( this is the next thing ever ) I get my family from uk to send it to me
Perfect topic, Emily! I’ve been really getting into lip balm’s, I guess it’s because it’s the winter, cold and dry. The tint just makes it that much more special.
I feel you with the irritated eyes struggles. I have very sensitive eyes. They are moody and they don't get along with a lot of products. One thing that helps sometimes is making sure you sharpen you eye pencils with every use. It just gets any bacteria or residue from previous uses off so that can sometimes help. Also, no lash glue and no waterproof mascara. Try to use pure sweet almond oil to remove eye makeup. It tends to kind of smooth off the makeup with the oil instead of rubbing. The usual eye makeup removers can make the makeup particles, especially mascara rub on the skin which causes even more irritation if your eyes are already irritated. Oil on the other hand tends to 'protect' the skin a little bit more. It's also a good option if your eyes react to certain ingredients. You can just wipe off the excess with a cotton round and anything that is left usually will sink into the the skin. It actually has nourished my actual lashes over time and let's be real, a little extra oil to hydrate and nourish the under eye area is not a bad idea.
Off the subject here, Emily, your eyes look so bright today - these cool toned browns are incredibly flattering on you! Your lids even look smoother than usual too! Yes! I love it! 💚💜

i was so excited when i saw this video, i am a lip balm fiend!! i have a lip balm in every drawer, bag, nook and cranny with about 10 back ups at all times 🙈
Love the Fresh advanced. I also got it in a Sephora play box and it’s amazing! I used to wear a Bobbi brown tinted balm years ago that they discontinued and I was so sad about that, so I think I might have to grab that blackberry shade!! Love me some high end balm as well, I consider it like skincare. I’ve been eyeing that YSL balm because of the beautiful packaging, might have to convince the hubby to get it for me for Mother’s Day! Love this type of video ❤️
My boyfriend got me a tube of the Chanel lip balm (online it’s just the clear shade of their original lipsticks) for Christmas 3 years ago and I fell in love! I think part of it is just how nice it makes me feel inside haha. But now I get a new tube every year in my stocking.
I love all of your videos and have for several years. They always make me smile. I love lip balms, but not my favorite part of this video. It’s actually watching you with such enthusiasm talking and trying them! I was actually giggling, lol. You sounded like you were talking about your first love with all the excitement and enthusiasm, it’s so adorable and genuine!!! Awesome video 💕💄👄💋
I loved your enthusiasm and passion to make a video like this! I’ve always wondered if the luxury lip balms would be worth it or not. I’m also a fellow lip balm lover, something easy, feels comfortable, and gives me an amazing look on the lips. So hearing your recommendations are truly helpful. It would be a great way to “treat yourself” with one of these products

Aquaphor works best for me too! I use benetint and posietint underneath when I want color 🙂
Also, on the subject of lip balms, who remembers the Maybelline Kissing Sticks? I had the grape one when I was a little girl! Also Kissing Potion too!
Connie, Kissing Sticks, Potion and Dr Pepper Lipsmackers just brought me back to middle school! Thank you for this memory, I needed something sentimental tonight you delivered! ❤❤
Lisa Burton ❤️😁👍
Excellent idea!! thank you so much
Great question Emily!
Also am I the only one that finds the Fresh lip balm original drying to the lips? You've made me curious about the newer version though.
Your little angel on your shoulder voice 😂
Also, need to mention my very favorite luxury lip balm ever... discontinued 😥 R.I.P. Dior Creme de Rose .
@Ann Taylor Yeah, it is discontinued. Time to stock up if you can!
I just love watching how excited you get when discussing anything makeup related. It shows how much you actually really love & are passionate about what your doing. This is what makes your channel stand out in a sea of others💞
I'm bummed I missed out on the Buxom balms set, but I have to try those. I love the lip glosses! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Sherri Ward try TJ Maxx or Marshall's I saw them there.
@@ExcellentFancy Oh awesome! Thank you! I will check there! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
Sephora has a mini set with one of the balms and a lip gloss
@@tanya3103 Yay! Thanks. You guys rawk! 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
I use light makeup and the Clinique chubby moisturizing balm and its the only high end product in my every day routine. I love them!
If you want a less expensive alternative, try the new wet n wild all purpose sticks.
Thanks!
Love it!
Yes to drugstore tinted balms. They are in my price range, though I’d love to try that Buxom!
Emily, thank you so much for this video! I'm a PhD student studying for my qualifying exams, and a lot of my research is about stuff that is often really difficult to deal with, and I appreciate coming here and watching your videos to lift my spirits and get me through stressful days.
I love love Burt's bees lip shimmers don't know why I'd pay for a luxury lipstick but not a lip balm doesn't make sense I know but that's how I feel.
I love their lip balms but can't stand the smell of the lip shimmers
Love the lip shimmers too...peony and watermelon are my faves❤️😁
I don't get why I need to pay more for a lipbalm as well. Certainly not for the pigmentation, staying power or even the sunscreen. It's so First World... 😔
I feel like I can justify the cost of a balm more than a lipstick because I know I'll definitely use all of it. I don't know the last time I went through an entire tube of lipstick.
Drugstore dupes please!! They used to have a Palmers Chocolate Cherry balm that was my HG and then they d/c it :(
Carmex comfort Care natural. Has a comfortable feeling and watermelon smell.
Jennifer De La Cruz I really want to try these!
I LOVE routine videos. Especially nighttime routines with skincare 💕💕
Same!
Finally an intelligent comment
Physicians formula came out with the murumuru butter lip products. Tried them and loving them.
They also last SO long so I think it’s better then splurging on a lux mascara that will dry out.
i would LOVE to see your “routine” in a video!
A great " lipbalm" is lansinoh lanolin nipple cream. It gets rid of all cracking.
I cant afford any of these but will gladly watch you enjoy them 😂
I have the YSL one just because I couldn’t resist the packaging 🙈 it’s so beautiful & lives in my handbag.
My mom always always wore lipstick and had at least 2 in her purse, she had a Shiseido dark plum gloss that was her favourite.
Love this! I'm more prone to splurge on skincare but I totally get the appeal of a balm! Not sure I've found anything that beats my Aquaphor!
I LOVE routine videos! It fascinates me how peoples day goes, especially when theres kids in the mix!😁😁
Emily I am obsessed with lip balms and loved this video!! All your videos are awesome love you!!!
aww thank you Barb!!
I love tinted lip balm. Some of the darker ones you showed remind me of Clinique’s black honey that was so popular back in the late 90s/early 2000s!
I'm 100% with you on this!!!! I love luxury lip balms - my obsession right now is the Pat McGrath one in Wild Cherry ❤
My favorite lip balm is Bonne Bell Lip Smackers! I just bought two multi packs of them at Target. They have new Tropical flavors! Yesss! Love them.
Yes! I’m so excited about these balms! Also, I found myself chuckling all the way through this video. So informative and entertaining.
Yes to drugstore tinted lip balms. 🌸
Best lip balm recommendation was definitely the Buxom! Stopped them up that first time around and have been a winter purse staple 🤗
Tinted balms are my favorites! Clinique Black Honey, Neutrogena, the dc'd CoverGirl Naturals line.
Thanks for the push to buy the Buxom set. I really enjoy them!
i heard that small quiet "yoink!" LOL luv ya!
Wow love you !!
I love the Dior Lip glow !!!
Never tried that!! I should!
Emily Noel i never repurchase things
I have repurchased soo many
The original is great
They have an orangey peachy one
And they have some new shades too that look amazing
I have the driest lips that are bleeding and flaky so this is essential
Also try nuxe lip balm in a pot ( this is the next thing ever ) I get my family from uk to send it to me
@@Lashlove16 Yes!!! It's the only lip product I use.
@@emilynoel83 boooooogie and wonderful. The tom ford one is stunning also.
Emily Noel you really should I love the pink. I’ve reordered, and, used the whole thing up without loosing it.
Perfect topic, Emily! I’ve been really getting into lip balm’s, I guess it’s because it’s the winter, cold and dry. The tint just makes it that much more special.
This is JUST what I needed!! My lips have been SO dry lately, nothing I use has been able to help. Thanks Emily!!
Yes! I love it! 💚💜
I got home from a horrible day at work to do laundry feeling so defeated and I open RUclips to run into this, totally made my day better, love your content
I bought the Buxom set after you said you loved it. It's my new fave! All four of them!!
i was so excited when i saw this video, i am a lip balm fiend!! i have a lip balm in every drawer, bag, nook and cranny with about 10 back ups at all times 🙈
I feel you!!
Hollie Forrester is a lip balm fanatic on here and finds some really great products.
I got the buxom for $14 at macys
Love the Fresh advanced. I also got it in a Sephora play box and it’s amazing! I used to wear a Bobbi brown tinted balm years ago that they discontinued and I was so sad about that, so I think I might have to grab that blackberry shade!! Love me some high end balm as well, I consider it like skincare. I’ve been eyeing that YSL balm because of the beautiful packaging, might have to convince the hubby to get it for me for Mother’s Day! Love this type of video ❤️
Hey Emily, I've always liked your hair videos because we have the same type of hair. Would you consider doing a review on hot air brush dryers?
The best lip mask I have ever tried(my experience) was from a brand from amazon, bought it at a reasonable price and got amazing results with it.
Hello, can you give me more details about that lip mask?
@@jennyjohnson9581 Sure, you can check it out here: amzn.to/2ZQ1vGH

I loved your enthusiasm and passion to make a video like this! I’ve always wondered if the luxury lip balms would be worth it or not. I’m also a fellow lip balm lover, something easy, feels comfortable, and gives me an amazing look on the lips. So hearing your recommendations are truly helpful. It would be a great way to “treat yourself” with one of these products
