I used skill point to acquire all the character skills and lvl ups the most use skill. And we only play D2 in Lan game with my friend back in those days.. No need to brag your knowledge on this game.
Next build you should do is frenzy barb. Thats what i did my first couple ubers on plugy with, interesting to see what you came up with to use. Mine was very early on so my gear was budget AF.
With so little physical damage, have you considered a Blessed Aim merc? Not sure the AR boost you'd get but the bump in hit rate percentage might make for a faster overall run.
DB - have you ever considered showing a build from start to finish? Or like snippets of how you get these chars to the state that they are in when you post the vid? Idk just a thought from a D2 noob.
Hey Mr Dbrunski125 listen, I have a question, I have been troubled by the MF issue for some time, I play BN most of the time and I am interested in playing a character with a lower MF ratio than, for example, a sorceress with 500mf or a zerker with 800mf. Do I have a chance to get a rare item completely gg? I mean exactly if MF has an impact on the quality of items, because I know that when you have more of it, more items fall out, but I'm wondering if I played javazon with 200mf, I can also drop something ultra good. I love playing javazon and destroying entire screens, but I'm worried that hundreds of hours may go to waste and I will never get anything very good because I only have 200mf. :( I apologize in advance for my terrible English but I don't use it often.
MF doesn’t affect drop rate, that’s dependent on players setting(1,3,5,7). What MF does is raise the chance that a white item will roll magic/rare/set/unique. It is definitely possible to find GG items with little mf. It all depends on how fast you can clear with the mf you have.
Kill speed is more important than MF. If you can clear The Pits for example within 1-2 minutes with high mf then go for mf. If it takes you 5 minutes with high mf then go for more damage over mf. Realistically around 150-300 mf is preferable. Anything more is probably giving you diminishing returns and slowing you down. I've found plenty of items such as SOJ with almost 0 mf.
@@starhunter2770 That's not true. MF does affect drop rate of magic items. Player count only affects the "no drop" rate which makes higher player counts more valuable for runes, charms, and gems for example.
Yewtub increasing players setting lowers no drop rate which means its raises drop rate of items(what I said), mf increases drop rate of mf items by increasing the chance that base item will roll magic( what I said) Not sure what I said wrong
I used to have a mauler werebear with a 3 socket tomb reaver (shael x 3) and it was amazing for ubers. But as you said is not effective alone due to the low AR It's a great build in party that includes a smiter and a life tap necro.
How do you use a potion on the merc? I always thought you had to drag the potion over their portrait to use it on them. Then i saw you healing him without doing that.
It doesnt work because the 40% chance of procking fire storm will interrupt the attack alll the time, and in the end you will attack a lot less and your DPS will be a lot lower.

EBOTD Giant Tresher and eTomby both can reach 6 frame attacks for fire claws (with a bunch of off weapon IAS - 70 for the GT), then you pack a fortitude (COH for ubers I guess..), charge up maul and summon heart of wolverine. Then get some deadly strike from and HLW, and you do mean physical damage (roughly 50-50 fire and phys). The GT setup would lose Life Tap as it needs 2 piece IK to reach the required off weapon IAS in bear form to reach 6 frames, but gets a load of life leech (6 on Nosferatus, 13 on BOTD, 10 on Cerebus, potential 5 on a BK ring). It needs very good resist charms if you use Cerebus. I don't have a setup worked out for Tomby, as I never found an eth one (neither do I have ruby jewels of fervor on plugy...). Overall I really prefer the 2 handed Fire Claws, I know it's less popular, but overall you do more DPS, and not limited on your farming areas.
I made a Uber Killing Barb 10+ years ago using a E Zod Wolf Howl helm, and a E BOTD Thunder Maul. A feral rage barbarian if you will. it worked pretty well. No points in skills. only masters and war cries. Druids used to get a speed buff for mace class weapons, So I was thinking a ware wolf barb would get the same boost.
How do you get Keys of Destruction? I tried farming Nihlathak but he often one-shot kills me with the corpse explosions. There is no reliable way to kill him, you have to be extremely lucky.
Blizzard sorc (kills nith but his minions are immune making it impossible for him to corpse explode), CoA/ss hammerdin (extreme dr), trapsin (death sentry pops the corpses before nith can), and bone or psn nec diligently using corpse explosion are all extremely easy and efficient ways of getting DKeys Alternatively you could just use nature's peace ring which will prevent the minion corpses being usable for corpse explosion. hope that helps

@@gh0un The only reason why minions aren't spawning is because the code for them only exist on battlenet server. It more than doable to even with minions. Many people did it. A dude even complete uber tristram with a level 24 paladin. It's actually very easy with any melee character.
The reason why the phase blade comes out on top is because at 110 ias on weapon you hit at 4 frames. If you got lucky and rolled a 4os Caduceus, and put 4 shaels in it you would have 120 ias on weapon, but only be hitting at 5 frames. A little math and you realize that this is a huge difference. At 25 frames/sec, the caddy will hit 5 times, but the phase blade will hit 6.25 times. I'm not sure, but I don't think it is possible to hit 4 frames with any other weapon, as once you get beyond about 10 frames, off weapon ias doesn't come in to play. So a plus to this build, a 4 shaeled 2 ias jeweled phase blade is all you need for 4 frame attack speed, and no more ias. Hope this helped anyone.
Also, wouldn't a phoenix shield be better? It has a massive amount of ed as well as -28 enemy fire res, or does the firestorm interrupt your swing? Not sure as I don't currently have to wealth to implement this shield myself. I would think with CoH, your res wouldn't be too bad without spirit. Personally, I would think, that shield plus fortitude would be enough damage to forgo some skilled gcs and just use a lot of all res charms. I only play hc so our builds may differ, as I will always max resistances and max block when I can. Just curious on what you thought and if you might try it out. I used to test things on hero editor to see what actually worked, but I never tested this and I don't have editor anymore.
Soooooo, did a bit of research and yes the firestorm interrupts attacking..... Ffs, this would be a perfect shield for a lot of builds, if it were not for that one thing.
Because the phaseblade has a base spped of -30, which is a lot faster than the ettinh axe. So you can actually get to the last ias breakpoint with the phaseblade. Because bulk of damage is firez the faster you attack, the higher your dps
Pretty sure you need 120 ias to hit fastest breakpoint for bear which actually is more important than enhanced damage on weapon. So a Griswald’s Caduceus is BIS or a 6os phase is budget but better than a 5os rune master unless of course you have 5 40/15 jewels(which no one has on single player legit or would use on rune master at least I hope not).
I prefer Maul to Fire Claws, though it is a little more gear dependant, and requires a way of procing Decrepify to deal with phys immunes. It does allow you to max out lycanthropy, which gives you a massive health boost, making CtA a bit of a waste.
I agree that a smiter is hands down the best for farming Ubers but I just recently made a frenzy barb and he's doing well farming them solo... Using beast and oath for weapons and they work great..
It's been so long since I played, but I remember having a werebear with hunger maxed or as many as I could put in it. When we battled Baal I told my other party members to back off and I took down Baal by myself. Kinda ruined it for them.

Without the wep infinity this build does NOT work. Been testing for days on a lvl 78 druid. Put more focus on what actually makes this build viable, infinity required.
It's cool and all, but the process to getting there *needs* a video. Everyone can hack in some overkill gear and levels and go pwn ubers. The interesting part of the game is the build up. I think this channel would have a lot more viewers if it had "guided play through"s or somehing like that, where one can learn how to build up their hero
The Shael'd Phase Blade is utter trash, man. Use a Last Wish, Grief, eth Death, eth Breath of The Dying, something like that. Also, in D2R the Firestorm interruption glitch from Pheonix has been fixed, so that is the most optimal option now for a shield.

When will you stop waisting 6 skills into summons. They die in a matter of seconds. Almost every second comment gives advice here, as much as I did not wanted to be like others, I had to.
I mean I think the summon bear is a nice meat shield. I think might be losing 2k fire claw dmg maybe. Dont think it would make much of a difference tbh because the mini ubers and ubers that dont have the insane high fire res already die very quickly and diablo and baal have massive fire res so in those scenarios 6 extra synergy points would do absolutely nothing. I will agree that you could go without the spirits tho.

Aldurs is pretty meh, only 6 fpa at best and lacks the crushing blow and stats you’d want for higher level boss killing.

Im 100% sure that phoenix monarch will suit the build excellently. Try it: redemption, -fres, tonns of ed and fire absorb - vital for ubers

The way these skills synergize is mad
3 points in dragon talon, with +skills you've got a lvl 25, 5 kick talon with (6.25 attacks per second with only 20ias, the next bp and fastest is 6.5 attacks per second so maxing ias not worth it) with 95% crushing blow - as good as any other kick sin will get.
Max lightning claws and fire claws and Phoenix strike. No need to utilise ice claws as it's not at good. Normal attacks are twice a second, and with ignore taget defence you can easily stack Phoenix strike to either fire or lightning.
Dragon flight - stacking lightning Phoenix and tele kicking into a mob will wreck shit
You've got mind blast to charm enemies, you've got cloak of shadows to lower boss defence, shadow master is tanky as shit and will put down death sentry's for you
Max venom for more damage or your own death sentry skill,
Give Merc infinity to increase Phoenix damage, infinity aura works with every skill less res and it also lowers target defence for Ubers/boss,
Because of last with it will proc fade at level 11, so just cast your own fade and no need to replenish it as you fight, 11 damage reduce from fade, 35 from stormshield and 8 from enigma hits the max -50% damage reduce max, plus your resistances are solid.
Pros of this build - has aoe dual element which will kill mobs on faster than other melee builds, a 95% crushing blow 3 Frame kick which melts individual targets
Even though you're tanky as, you have a Merc and a shadow master which won't die as last wish has life tap) you have fire/ lightning and physical, nothing is immune to you.
The only real con is low AR but with a blessed aim Merc+ cloak of shadows this not a problem and AR is only affected by bosses as you have ignore target defence.

EBOTD Giant Tresher and eTomby both can reach 6 frame attacks for fire claws (with a bunch of off weapon IAS - 70 for the GT), then you pack a fortitude (COH for ubers I guess..), charge up maul and summon heart of wolverine. Then get some deadly strike from and HLW, and you do mean physical damage (roughly 50-50 fire and phys). The GT setup would lose Life Tap as it needs 2 piece IK to reach the required off weapon IAS in bear form to reach 6 frames, but gets a load of life leech (6 on Nosferatus, 13 on BOTD, 10 on Cerebus, potential 5 on a BK ring). It needs very good resist charms if you use Cerebus. I don't have a setup worked out for Tomby, as I never found an eth one (neither do I have ruby jewels of fervor on plugy...). Overall I really prefer the 2 handed Fire Claws, I know it's less popular, but overall you do more DPS, and not limited on your farming areas.

I made a Uber Killing Barb 10+ years ago using a E Zod Wolf Howl helm, and a E BOTD Thunder Maul. A feral rage barbarian if you will. it worked pretty well. No points in skills. only masters and war cries. Druids used to get a speed buff for mace class weapons, So I was thinking a ware wolf barb would get the same boost.
Heard summoner Druid is good for ubers and dclone. Can you do a build of that??

How do you get Keys of Destruction? I tried farming Nihlathak but he often one-shot kills me with the corpse explosions. There is no reliable way to kill him, you have to be extremely lucky.
doesnt slain monsters resting peace help with that? otherwise max fore res and absorb. Use those dwarf stars
Blizzard sorc (kills nith but his minions are immune making it impossible for him to corpse explode), CoA/ss hammerdin (extreme dr), trapsin (death sentry pops the corpses before nith can), and bone or psn nec diligently using corpse explosion are all extremely easy and efficient ways of getting DKeys
Alternatively you could just use nature's peace ring which will prevent the minion corpses being usable for corpse explosion.

It wouldnt be "a little bit more challenging". It would be almost impossible.
With full belt of reguvs and life tap it can be done. Merc will not survive ever and will miss more losing conviction but def can do it.

@@skininiemilimiobiliodbytpo937 that was exactly my point. Dbrunski says it would be possible, but I disagree. There is a reason why plugy doesn't have those adds. It's impossible alone, and this build would just get obliterated in a few seconds.
@@gh0un The only reason why minions aren't spawning is because the code for them only exist on battlenet server. It more than doable to even with minions. Many people did it. A dude even complete uber tristram with a level 24 paladin. It's actually very easy with any melee character.
I know CB sucks on ranged, but how does a GA zon fair? You always hit, just finding enough CB to make up for the hit. I think its 1/4 effectiveness?
It’s definitely possible, I’ve done dclone with GA build but three of them would take ages and CB for ranged is 1/16 acc. to arreat summit

WW can do it. Maybe a max block zerker? scare everything away and focus bosses
The reason why the phase blade comes out on top is because at 110 ias on weapon you hit at 4 frames. If you got lucky and rolled a 4os Caduceus, and put 4 shaels in it you would have 120 ias on weapon, but only be hitting at 5 frames. A little math and you realize that this is a huge difference. At 25 frames/sec, the caddy will hit 5 times, but the phase blade will hit 6.25 times. I'm not sure, but I don't think it is possible to hit 4 frames with any other weapon, as once you get beyond about 10 frames, off weapon ias doesn't come in to play. So a plus to this build, a 4 shaeled 2 ias jeweled phase blade is all you need for 4 frame attack speed, and no more ias. Hope this helped anyone.
Also, wouldn't a phoenix shield be better? It has a massive amount of ed as well as -28 enemy fire res, or does the firestorm interrupt your swing? Not sure as I don't currently have to wealth to implement this shield myself. I would think with CoH, your res wouldn't be too bad without spirit. Personally, I would think, that shield plus fortitude would be enough damage to forgo some skilled gcs and just use a lot of all res charms. I only play hc so our builds may differ, as I will always max resistances and max block when I can. Just curious on what you thought and if you might try it out. I used to test things on hero editor to see what actually worked, but I never tested this and I don't have editor anymore.

Because the phaseblade has a base spped of -30, which is a lot faster than the ettinh axe. So you can actually get to the last ias breakpoint with the phaseblade. Because bulk of damage is firez the faster you attack, the higher your dps
Pretty sure you need 120 ias to hit fastest breakpoint for bear which actually is more important than enhanced damage on weapon. So a Griswald’s Caduceus is BIS or a 6os phase is budget but better than a 5os rune master unless of course you have 5 40/15 jewels(which no one has on single player legit or would use on rune master at least I hope not).

Want to see the bear sorc... as a bnet ladder player - its gonna be hard to achieve :) but its gonna be quick as hell aswell!
I prefer Maul to Fire Claws, though it is a little more gear dependant, and requires a way of procing Decrepify to deal with phys immunes.
It does allow you to max out lycanthropy, which gives you a massive health boost, making CtA a bit of a waste.

for uber druid u can use that axe wepond legendary name Ettin axe whit 5 soket ...is fun but he has low durability ...but still nice wepond try it!
I agree that a smiter is hands down the best for farming Ubers but I just recently made a frenzy barb and he's doing well farming them solo... Using beast and oath for weapons and they work great..

Melee dmg output is so small on best with phaseblade that it doesnt do anything. But yea normal circumstances is good.

It's been so long since I played, but I remember having a werebear with hunger maxed or as many as I could put in it. When we battled Baal I told my other party members to back off and I took down Baal by myself. Kinda ruined it for them.

Yea it might not be possible agreed I think with full belt of reguvs tho and if you get in and proc life tap I think like 60 to 70 can do maybe 30 cant pull it off. Again not sure :)

Without the wep infinity this build does NOT work. Been testing for days on a lvl 78 druid. Put more focus on what actually makes this build viable, infinity required.
It's cool and all, but the process to getting there *needs* a video. Everyone can hack in some overkill gear and levels and go pwn ubers. The interesting part of the game is the build up. I think this channel would have a lot more viewers if it had "guided play through"s or somehing like that, where one can learn how to build up their hero

The Shael'd Phase Blade is utter trash, man. Use a Last Wish, Grief, eth Death, eth Breath of The Dying, something like that. Also, in D2R the Firestorm interruption glitch from Pheonix has been fixed, so that is the most optimal option now for a shield.

When will you stop waisting 6 skills into summons. They die in a matter of seconds. Almost every second comment gives advice here, as much as I did not wanted to be like others, I had to.
I mean I think the summon bear is a nice meat shield. I think might be losing 2k fire claw dmg maybe. Dont think it would make much of a difference tbh because the mini ubers and ubers that dont have the insane high fire res already die very quickly and diablo and baal have massive fire res so in those scenarios 6 extra synergy points would do absolutely nothing. I will agree that you could go without the spirits tho.
