He's lived the fullest of lives, left a monumental legacy of Cinema. His influence is global. It's only when he's gone will we realise how great he is.
Clint is a true icon. Everything he's ever touched has turned to gold. Just a genuine storyteller with a passion for bringing those stories to life. Surrounds himself with the right talent, people adept at their craft and the magic ensues. Will be a sad day when he's no longer with us but the longevity is simply unmatched.
I’ve been a fan of Clint for over half a century..so when i see an ad on Facebook marketplace FYI or thirty plus of his movies on dvd for only £30 i jumped at the chance. The man is nothing short of a living legend
Scorsese said it best: He’s the last true movie star, the link from the golden era to the modern area. The Man has a name & it’s The Legendary Clint Eastwood 🤠🎥🎞️🐴🏜️
Why did you use the word: "was"? I think I guess what you mean because he's 94, but he's still alive and active and when he acts or directs he continues to do a great work. Aging doesn't mean that he has got worse... that's my personal view. No offence please.
I’m mad at Warner Bros for not giving Clint Eastwood’s new movie, “Juror #2” a nation wide theatrical release in the United States, especially considering the possibility that this might be his last film and that he still has commercial appeal. It seems for some reason the new managers and executives have somehow lost sight of how valuable he’s been for the studio for the last half century.
I can kinda understand the decision as his previous movie "Cry Macho" was a flop and Warner got heavily invested in the publicity for that film. They're not gonna do him the same favor twice, even tho he deserves many more.
@@ennieminymoo6675 It was different for Cry Macho because it was released during the pandemic and the studio was releasing their movies into theaters and onto Max at the same time, which actually hurt them more than it helped them financially. They shouldn’t have to invest so much into the publicity of their movies if they have recognizable and legendary names like Clint Eastwood attached to them. A simple movie trailer posted on RUclips and rave reviews in the press and on social media would have been enough to garner the masses’ interest and it would have had a better chance of recouping its budget if released nationwide since it was made for only 35 million, which is at least a hundred million dollars cheaper than franchise movies are made now. But doing the simplest marketing tactics on a low budget movie with at least one commercially appealing talent behind it and not releasing it into theaters nationwide and/or worldwide, which is still the best chance for films recoup their budgets, is just odd and unheard of. I mean Clint’s films have flopped a number of times before and, up until now, WB stood by him. The problem is that the new managers and executives at WB, and in all of Hollywood, have either lost their financial minds or didn’t have any to begin with and are so obsessed with cashing in on trendy franchises and advocating political and social nonsense within them that they have sort of given up on people like Clint who has consistently made good movies on lower budgets and given them good returns at the box office.
I love the beginning of this clip. Clint is acting and directing at the same time. He has a gun at Gene Hackman’s head and in a director’s voice says, “can u lift your head a little?”. HA. I love it.
Clint Eastwood is the greatest actor and director who knows how to make a movie good. He’s had a lot of experience and success. Everyone knows him and his work, and loves him for it. He’s a legend. He’s learned from the best directors like Don Siegel and Sergio Leone may those two mentors of Clint rest in peace. It amazes me when he casts good actors a lot like him in a way in a movie he directs. Guys like Morgan Freeman, Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Gene Hackman, James Cromwell, Ed Harris, the late Donald Sutherland, the late James garner, etc.
Weekend is here friends, time for enjoying great movies & cinema happenings, vintage movies might surprise you, now that smartphones raise anyone of us a movie director for hobby, the point of view is very different. Eternal gratitude gorgeous performers that made of our lives a better place.. since we used to be kids...the best fun was... watching western movies at the cinema hall in the very first seats😂😂😅😅😅the screen was so huge, you felt like horses will walk over your dead body😂😂😂😅😅😅 unforgettable indeed
All these years and the movies with Warner Brothers and Clint’s latest movie, Juror 2 is only being released in 50 theatres. And it’s getting good reviews. Such disrespect from Warner Brothers to a man who has brought so much to so many people and so much cash for the studio.
I have watched all of Clint Eastwood movies from his fantastic westerns, to all of the Dirty Harry movies and others. In fact, I have watched them several times. You know that you ate a fan when you know the next upcoming line, even before it comes out of the actor's mouth.
If he had done Gemini man instead of Will smith in which the script was made for him, it would’ve been on par with in the line of fire, blood work, and the Dirty Harry movies. It would’ve been better with Clint Eastwood.
This is nice and all but they're pushing him out the door. 50 years of being associated with one studio, and they don't even give what is likely his last movie a wide release.
What actually happened was this; It was during the shooting of A Perfect World and Kevin Costner was doing a scene with a day player. The day player was nervous and made a mistake with a take and Costner got angry with him and stomped off. Clint beckoned Kevin's double over and they shot the scene. When Kevin returned to the set, Clint told him what they had already done pointing out to him; 'I'm being paid to shoot film, so I'm going to shoot film. I'm not here to jerk off' Kevin was fine afterwards for the rest of the shoot. Of course Kevin - like Clint - was also a director, so he would understand that
No. Canceled this guy from my life. Thumbs down. Plenty of other artists to explore to fill the void. Never seeing this guy in my screening room: ever. again
"Deserves got nothing to do with it"
The single best line in the history of cinema. A line I quote to people on a daily basis.
It's up there, but I like, "We all have it coming, kid."

A true legend. Sucks that Warner Brothers dun him dirty with the release of his possible last movie “Juror #2” this weekend. For shame.
He get have a Oscar nod
It’s a great movie!
@steveleeart it is, with a predictable mystery.
The man, the myth, and the Legendary Clint Eastwood is a no-nonsense man and yet a genuine beautiful human being!!🎉❤🎉❤
A legend that has taught me so much with every film hes made... talent like his is almost gone but will live forever

I love when he’s acting and I love when he’s directing. I’ve seen all of his movies. ❤️🇧🇷
*I've seen...
Clint was great in all his movies and a brilliant actor all the old actor was great just like his film
He's very creative,
No CGI BS, no added digital.

It’s a really good film. I was lucky to have seen it in theatres last week.

My Favorite Actor, of all time! His catalog of diverse, divergent, movies is second to none! ❤

That was a privilege to watch.
Its said McQueen was the king of cool, but Clint Eastwood was way ahead in my humble opinion.

He's very believable, he wants to make innovative.
@@January.My comment is past tense because he doesn't act or direct anymore. Duh!
@@JackiePhillipsTheSocialPet He's STILL alive = CLINT IS. D-U-H.
@January. Learn to focus and stop overreacting
Just a second.. what's WB doing celebrating the GOATS LEGACY when they sabotaged what will probably be his last film ever?
Explanation is warranted. ❤
Beautiful tribute ❤

Juror #2 was really good. Cheers and Meow 🍺😺

I saw him in Back to the Future 3. He was a lot smaller though. Lol
I saw him in Black Adam😊

I love this, but i somehow fear it holds some sort of prelude to something every Clint's fan is dreading to happen... 😢
can someone explain to me how on set, the shots look they would be bright but in the film theyre dark like the final scene in unforgiven
That's called Color Correction. It's just a part of post production and editing.
If he had done Gemini man instead of Will smith in which the script was made for him, it would’ve been on par with in the line of fire, blood work, and the Dirty Harry movies. It would’ve been better with Clint Eastwood.
Pity that INVICTUS was so historically inaccurate otherwise it would have been one of his greats.
What does that matter? It's not a documentary
🥂
The narrative is great, but the action is clumsy.
“A cinematic legacy” but Zaslav and WB can’t be bothered to give his final film a real theatrical run. Shameful
This is nice and all but they're pushing him out the door. 50 years of being associated with one studio, and they don't even give what is likely his last movie a wide release.
" I get paid to burn film", Clint said to an actor that was arguing with him about a scene so Clint shot a scene with the actors double.
What actually happened was this; It was during the shooting of A Perfect World and Kevin Costner was doing a scene with a day player. The day player was nervous and made a mistake with a take and Costner got angry with him and stomped off. Clint beckoned Kevin's double over and they shot the scene.
