I know Baekyung's character is not likeable but it was never made to like. I hated him throughout the show but in the end I felt bad. I didn’t want to Dan Oh to end up with him. I just wanted him to be happy. He was the loneliest character. No one was there for him. I wish he was more open with his brother. Anyway I liked the ending Dan oh forgave him and thanked him. It was perfect ending for everyone.
What i didn't like about this is that the FL never really gave baekyung a chance in the shadows. She clearly knows the difference between a character that's self aware and not BUT although she knows Baekyung is already self-aware, she still views him as the stage baekyung even though he was clearly slowly showing that he wasn't. I don't hate the FL. In fact I still agree that she really about her choosing Haru. It was refreshing to see an FL choose a healthy relationship. Haru and FL deserved each other. Im just saying that baekyung deserved better. Haru was a really extra character which really didn't affect the show and had an early self awareness. Same with FL, she got aware pretty early too. Which gave them a lot more time to sort their characterthings up. Meanwhile Baekyung was a late bloomer and no one tried to understand him coping. Out of the three main characters in the last book trumpet. Baekyung had to be the most unfortunate out of them.
