Matt and Alex . Ahhh. Alpina. Thank you, Alex. Now it all makes sense. Stealth may I suggest? For those in the know. Attention to detail. Thank you to you both.
I absolutely love my XD3 from Sytner Nottingham; one of the most fulfilling cars i have run. I had an X3 M Competition previously - which more than lives upto that spec but the harshness of ride and low MPG/££ became tiresome. Alpina XD3 is definitely a drivers car 'wolf in sheeps clothing' with the uniqueness of Alpina, with supreme comfort but can turn into a wolf in a heartbeat, whilst delivering a frugal mpg.....I have run a LOT. of cars and this XD3 is one of the best and a keeper.
Is Sytner Nottingham the place to go to get questions and advice on Alpina? Sytner have a fair few used Alpina cars dispersed across it's network. But to build a new Alpina will the best knowledge come from Nottingham.
Nice test, thanks. The main thing I'm noticing about this video is how much the occupants are constantly bobbing about all over the place in their seats. Any SUV I've ever driven does the same thing. It's the higher centre of gravity and even the best suspension in the world can't completely compensate for that. I don't like it, which is why I have always stuck with saloon cars.
