@@robertlkiss Wow, I never thought that you would reply. Thank you sir. I'm trying to integrate my knowledge on mechanical engineering to industrial design. Learning from your videos really helped me get started.

@@thegroundup1735 Of course I'll reply this channel is mostly about learning and me sharing what I know :) I think that is the best approach I knew quite a couple of mechanical engineers who joined me on my ID masters courses, there's a lot you can and have to take from it and apply to ID.

robertlkiss Industrial Design is uncommon in our country that is why I try to learn what I can. It is really hard to find a mentor in our country most of my professors don’t really care much about how a product looks. 😅

@@thegroundup1735 Yeah i just had someone else ask me for online resources to learn industrial design. problem is many people confuse good sketching skills with industrial design. But i know many industrial designers who don't know how to sketch or don't care because they have so many other tools at their disposal. So make sure to do some research what else u want/need for what you want to learn from ID.

very nice sketches. i never have the courage to draw directly with a ballpoint pen. and i rarely go in with something else then pencil. but indeed the result is much more dynamic this way. i might just give it a go

Thank you! Yeah, I had the same, before starting my Industrial Design studies. But now it's actually the opposite for me. If possible I avoid pencil sketching because I'm more uncomfortable with it. I actaully have to push myself to do pencil drawings just to step out of this new comfrot zone from time to time.

How long took you to get there with the skills. I’d love to be able to draw half as good as you do?

Well,I love your videos, and i am wondering, have you tried using a brush pen?

Isaac Yanez yes I have. I actually just lost it so ill have to order a new one. I really liked it for organic shapes although I don't think it's suitable for industrial design sketching.
