- what if instead of sonic 1 sonic cd's levels were based off sonic 3's? this is exactly what i thought before making this level concept, which should be a Sonic CD style counterpart to Carnival Night Zone

Any news on the us dubious depths yet?
To be honest. I don't think there is more information about DD. I think the level is going to stay as it is.
Unless God from heaven comes and brings us a super old beta where DD can be played

Not sure. But I'm excited for the official us version to come out (if it does)
@@SlushiFoxEdits there's no way for that to ever happen given that US OST was composed after JP version was released (and they had like a month to compose it all)

Off topic lol. But does anyone know or can pin point the similarities between Tidal Tempest present and bad future? They don’t sound alike at all.

Just for a moment you can hear TT's main melody but with minor chords or something.

@Tessting Totally agree.
- The bass line and the synth-like instrument at the beggining are based on the whistle from the other timelines (B-G-E notes).
- Just like the guy above said, at 28:00 the main TT motif can be heard, but evil sounding.
- At the end of the track, the beeps are based on the piano sequence from the end of Present and the flute from the end of Good Future.
Bad Future takes the airy ambient whistle of the Present and makes it menacing and suffocating. It also takes the melody and chops it up a little bit too. It feels like a subversion of the present theme more than a concrete remix.
I know that part of the bad future mix is reflected in the ominous sounding part of the past mix, though.
