Following your advice in a post from some years ago, I found a Centropen 10016, and it's a fine writer in wonderful green celluloid. Thanks for another enjoyable show.
Interesting pens and beautiful celluloid on one of them. Have you had snow yet? The weather has finally turned cooler, here. It was dark when you started! And daylight when you finished.Oh you did say you were going to throw in some old footage...
I have to tell you about a pen I just got from a small maker. I got a Bonecrusher Studios Pen in Black Cherry. I am totally impressed. It's the most comfortable pen in my collection. He is on Instagram, but also has a website. Only telling you about it because I never liked most of the small maker pens, but this pen is stunning and I am thinking of ordering another. The quality was more than expected for what I paid.
Not something I’d go for myself but it’s interesting to know they exist and why you collect them. I’ve picked up 3 Jinhao 10s recently (Pilot Vanishing point knockoffs) . Build quality is very good and they only come with Fine,EF nibs- waiting for medium. Jinhao give you a per-pet to fill the small converter with. You get more ink than filling it from an ink bottle. Weight and length identical to a Pilot Vanishing point.
Hey WaskiSquirrel! I saw a 7 year old comment on a Figboot on pens video... Question did you and your pen pal ever end up getting a newer Wahl-Eversharp Decoband? Cool pens!
@@WaskiSquirrel I've always wanted one as well for the last 4 or 5 years... I just pulled the trigger on the new one that came out last week. Instead of a chilton style, it's a piston filler like the M800 Pelikan. They have 3 different new ones. Maroon ripple, green ripple, and Blue ripple. I'm getting the Maroon ripple. They are also chased ebonite like the orange Gatsby versions they used to have. Check them out!

I'm glad you're enjoying that 10016. I need to find a green Centropen in that finish.

No snow yet, but plenty of freezing temperatures. And, yes, these videos are filmed at multiples times...or years.

I will look that up. Thank you!

I haven't tried the Jinhao 10, but I did try a MaJohn A1, which is similar. Also quite good!

Neither of us have felt rich enough to do that yet!
