Here are some ideas of arenas I would like to see again. Battle course 2 (Snes). An arena set on a beach that would be nice. For the modifications, underwater passages would have their place and add in the background some boats. The original music could be replaced by a remix of the music of the koopa beach snes to better stick to the theme. Double Deck (N64). The only N64 arena that never came back, so it would make sense to add it. It would be necessary to make a complete remake of the decor, because this one was rather poor on N64. My idea would be to give it a multi-storey parking lot theme, with several parked vehicles, and a few vehicles that would move as obstacles. A city would be added in the background for the occasion. Battle Course 2 (GBA). An arena taking place in Bowser's castle that could be quite stylish in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It could be a little more embossed in a steampunk style with lava geysers added. The original music could be replaced by a remix of the GBA Bowser castle music in a Rock/Metal style, also to better fit the theme of the arena. Tilt-a-Kart (GCN). An arena in the shape of a very original 8-bit Mario, which would fit perfectly. The arena could be entirely made of anti-gravity as it leans, it would fit very well, and the Mario 8-bit colors could be replaced by the modern Mario colors. The music of Baby Park would be replaced by a remix of the mythical music of Super Mario Bros. Pipe Plaza (GCN). This is also a very original arena with its big pipes that make us go from top to bottom or from bottom to top. The arena could be redesigned and add things in the background. Unlike Mario Kart DS, the original music would be back in a remixed version. Twilight House (DS). A nice arena with a nice atmosphere, it would deserve to come back in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I think that the rooms could be themed more, especially the interior part, it could make it even more interesting. Tart Top (DS). An arena similar to Cookie Land from Double Dash and Sweet Sweet Kingdom from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe since it's in the pastry theme. The dash panel to access the high object boxes could be replaced by a half-pipe, and new details could be added, like sugar sculptures of Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad. Delfino Pier (Wii). A very cool Wii arena with a unique feature that you are in one part of the arena at the beginning, then the water rises and you access another part on high. On Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, we could very well use the underwater driving on the arena, that is to say that the part which becomes inaccessible on Wii would remain accessible thanks to the underwater driving. The buildings around would be redesigned. Funky Stadium (Wii). An arena with a Funky Kong look that would have its place. No big aesthetic changes to make, except why not a hang glider ramp. Galaxy Colosseum (Wii). This is a very special arena, since it was only available in online tournaments on Wii. I think it could come back, this time as a full battle arena. Sherbet Rink (3DS). An arena that takes place on a skating rink that would have a good place in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. We could add some spectator stands to make it more lively than it was in Mario Kart 7, and some Masskass Skaters from GCN Sherbet Land as an obstacle. In the new arenas, I don't have many ideas. Among the few I have, a Nintendo Switch arena where you would ride a Nintendo Switch in a portable version, similar to the Gamecube and Nintendo DS arenas. An arena based on Zelda Breath of the Wild and one based on Animal Crossing (with the seasons changing like the track).

The only personal change I would make is switching Twilight House (even though I love it) with Honeybee Hive, because we already have a spooky battle course that is centered around a building, and I believe that Honeybee Hive is just an improved version of Twilight House with unique rooms and gimmicks :)
Well, the thing about the music of the Battle Courses in MK8DX is if those battle courses are themed around an existing course, it uses a remixed version of the original track. GCN Luigi's Mansion uses DS Luigi's Mansion, 3DS Wuhu Town uses 3DS Wuhu Loop/Maka Wuhu, and Dragon Palace and Sweet Sweet Kingdom are remixed from Dragon Driftway and Sweet Sweet Canyon, respectively. So, Tour New York Minute B and Tour Paris Promenade B will be remixed for these as well. And for the tracks that don't use the theme of an existing track, it will most likely use its original game's battle theme. EDIT: I now kinda want someone to make a hypothetical remix for the Tour battle courses now. New York would sound more upbeat than the original while Paris Promenade would sound more fast-paced.

I find it unfair that the Booster Course Pass could double the race course but not the battle courses. Though if the Booster COURSE Pass could add new characters and little extra settings, then it basically has no excuse to add in more battle courses (aside from maybe data limitations). I've done my own wishlist for additional Battle Courses and while I agree with you on Wii Chain Chomp Wheel, N64 Block Fort and Wii funky Stadium. The other Battle Courses I put down were SNES Battle Course 2, GBA Battle Course 2, NGC Pipe Plaza, DS Palm Shore and 3DS Sherbet Rink. I didn't put in any Battle Courses from Tour because I don't think they were even in the game at the time, but I can see why you think they would put some in.
im sorry but some of these simply arent realistic, all battle stages in 8 deluxe follow 2 rules mostly to make renegade roundup work properly, they all have no way to fall off the stage and no hazards that cause players to crash, so chain chomp roulette wont be added, twilight house is gonna have the walls around the edge probably made way higher, and funky stadium is definitely going to have to cut the intro ramp that you could famously stay on with some manouvering at least in renegade roundup like how other maps have special starting points for it, there's still plenty of maps that could be added but some of these just arent it and dont seem that thought out beyond it being cool to have them back
Ngl Chain Chomp Roulette would be absolute fire, one of my favourite battle tracks along with Funky Stadium. Also CCR was one of the best looking battle courses

One thing I think also needs to be considered for predicting Battle Stages is how will the Maps work with Renegade Roundup? As that is a mode where you need to think about the placement of the players and the cages. As I feel some choices like GBA Battle Course 1 and Cookie Land would be too small where the Piranha Plants will easily get people (though maybe that could be the fun of the map but still). Still I feel the rest of the maps would work well with the mode. Chain Chomp Wheel might be fun chaos with the fact it is one big arena with tons of space and no walls separating both teams. I imagine so many players will get eaten trying to go through the ring. Twilight House I feel you could have fun just ambushing players behind walls or creating chokepoints with the cells (though maybe that would be too unfair potentially unless it's balanced properly). Block Fort would be chaos with people jumping off the bridges to avoid being surrounded. and Funky Stadium seems perfectly built for Renegade Roundup with all the side areas for cages. Otherwise for other battle tracks, I think Delfino Pier and Double Deck could also be options. Delfino Pier will most likely be missing it's deadly water with drivable water, however it would be fun to have a track that changes from a normal arena to an partly underwater arena. and Double Deck seems like chaotic fun from what little I've seen. Pipe Plaza would also be cool, but I worry about it being a small course and the fact the pipes could lead to easy ambushes with Piranha Plants in Renegade Roundup.

I don't think New York minute B will make a return as it is the same kind of battle track as the original MK8 ones, which everyone hated. The battle tracks were the main reason 8 deluxe was made in the first place.
I think if we ever got new battle courses I think we'd get 4 . The battle course I would want to see the most is definitely Block Fort. It's such a fun track going on all the different levels and imagine what it's own music would sound like instead of just using Choco Mountain as it's theme.
I also think that the Yoshi desert battle stage from the game boy advance might also be coming to tour because the files for Yoshi desert have been found in tour but there’s no GBA tracks left to come to Mario kart 8 besides Sunset wilds so it wouldn’t make sense if they were to add Yoshi desert to Mario kart tour, which is why I think they will add the battle stage version of Yoshi desert I also really like your thought on chain chomp roulette, and I really do think they will add it
I’ve always been saying we need more battle courses, it’s so small especially now with the booster course pass. You can play online and be lucky to get a lobby with like 4 people. And I really do like the battle courses that are already in the game, but I feel we should atleast get 4 new battle courses if Nintendo goes through with it, sucks cause Nintendo is already half way through so it seems kinda unlikely, but also countering that none of us expected them to add new characters so who knows! I’m not giving up hope
I feel like instead of Chain Chomp Wheel, they would choose Honeybee Hive from 7 so every game gets at least one course. Also probably replace GBA Battle Course 1 with 4 (a desert styled battle course) that would allow the racers to go underwater

Can you image 12 players and Renegade roundup on cookie land? Twilight House? Chain chomp wheel? GBA Battle Course 1? I don't think renagade roundup would work well on those stages. 12 players might work, since most of those were in Wii with 12 players. But in that game teams were always on. Some of these courses would simply not work in 8 deluxes battle mode

GBA Battle Course 1 is a mini version of SNES Battle Course 4 anyway.

Some of these courses would simply not work in 8 deluxes battle mode
I thought of some that COULD work though.
N64 Block Fort (already mentioned)
GBA Battle Course 4 (they could make it bigger and add underwater sections)
MAYBE GCN Pipe Plaza
Wii Block Plaza
Wii Delfino Pier
Wii Funky stadium (already mentioned)
Ds twilight house would be cool to
Please stop hoping for battle courses to be added since the WHOLE Booster Course pass is enough.

Funky Stadium and Block Fort are very overrated,
This will never happen lol
