Even as someone who fully expected a new Mario Party game, due to three years having passed, I couldn't be more blown away by how ambitious it's looking to be!
I am excited for the Mario party. It might have the old characteristics from the first one, like the Character Dices. I don’t really know WHY it’s called Jamboree, which is weird to me. But the boards look fun! Hope I get to play this with ya someday!
The name is still taking time to settle in on cause it’s definitely something different and new. It fits with Mario Party very well. And yes, we’re definitely due to play it!
That’s wonderful! While it’s true that the names a bit off… The boards make up for it! A combination of new and old makes for what the older 2 were both missing in their own perspective! Expanding on brand new concepts, and making older ones better, this could finally be the Mario Party people wanted!
This was such a great Direct, some big surprises from both Nintendo - all highlighted by you throughout the video and yes, I'm absolutely getting them all and can't wait to see more of them - and third parties - the Marvel vs. Capcom and Investigations collections by Capcom, the Dragon Quest HD-2D remakes (not just III although finally we're getting it and that alone would've been awesome) and so on, but appreciated your shoutout to Stray as while I haven't played it myself yet I watched others playing it and I definitely recommend it!
Oh yeah Marvel vs. Capcom has me hyped as well! There was so many exciting games announced that really just shocked me. Definitely will pick up Stray on the Switch but might try it on Steam first!
