I think this argument ignores the fact that these are still in the pool as courses. It’s not like we’d get SNES Vanilla Lake 2 and RMX Vanilla Lake 2 in the same game, so it wouldn’t be an actual issue if we got an RMX
Honestly I could see them being added as special event tracks as in complete the challenge and unlock the RMX alt for the track in VS. Would encourage people to come back to the game and get new rewards

Ok but why Mario Kart 10?? When it should be Mario Kart 9 and dont say that is because Tour is a main game because Tour ITS NOT A MAIN GAME Because if Tour needs to be a main game the arcades one needs to be too so it wouldn't be Mario Kart 10, it would be Mario Kart 15
I could see them going a Mario Kart (RM)X route with customizable options for old tracks as an expansion pass or DLC? Mario Kart X with a RMX component a la Super Mario Maker.
I would like to see an RMX version of every single track (yes, even the nitros) in Mario Kart X. For example: In the RMX version of Mushroom City, there would be a new route that takes you directly to Mushroom Bridge... RMX tracks could be an entirely new option for the game's menu, kinda like the mission mode in Mario Kart DS

i feel as if they may make some sort of comeback, and they'll be similar to the city tracks in mk8dx. you play the track normally, and then the remixed aspects of the track make an apperance in the future laps.

Because like it or not, Tour is counted as mainline by Nintendo, which makes it Mario Kart 9
I've been thinking of a way Nintendo could give the RMX tracks in the next game the same treatment they gave N64 Kalimari Desert in the BCP
There should be 3 categories of tracks. Nitro Tracks, Retro Tracks, and RMX Tracks.

I think the reason for why RMX bowser’s castle 1 is based off of GBA bowser castles is because the SNES bowser castles didn’t get any love.
That is until we got SNES Bowser Castle 3
