Hobbies are nice but in my opinion all fishing kayaks should have a seat that not only slides forward and backwards but also swivels 360 ° to get to whatever you have in your tank well, not all of us are in our 20 's anymore
You are absolutely CORRECT! I have been saying that for a couple of years now! Fishing kayaks is a relatively new sport. I am looking forward to the evolution of fishing kayak technology, it's coming brotha!
I agree that there should be more kayaks that offer the 360 option but I would say that not all kayak designs would benefit from a swivel seat. River and creek fishing kayaks that are designed to move quickly in some choppy water would be diminished in their handling. Swivel seats are better for lake setups and wider kayaks. Thank you for watching and for your feedback!
Hey Bearded one, it would be awesome if we could get a look at the bottom of the yaks you are detailing here. Are you suggesting that there is a scupper scooper??? Wonder what that looks like...
If I go with a Hobie it will be a Passport 12R. Lighter and cheaper. I’m a recreational fisherman just 1 or 2 rods. I really like the weight of the Lynx just not the price
Best detailed review on Kayaks ive seen.
Been looking at Old Town 136 motorized and Hobie 180 Angler 14, Lakes and tame coastal waters, 66 years old.
Can go wrong with Hobie. I personally own a PA14 with the 180 and love it. The Hobie drive sets it apart from the competition in my opinion.
I have both the outback and the pa12. Both are outstanding! The outback is eventually gonna go to my son.
Both are great great kayaks for sure! Thanks for watching!

Can't go wrong with either one honestly
