February 10 would be Chinese New Year in 2024. It would be a quite different experience to travel to Shanghai around that period because the city would be half-empty since many people will return their home town to celebrate the festival with their family. Look forward to your vlog

The start of may is public holiday so maybe will be crowded on tourist spots. Also be careful to check the weather before you go, may and June is usually pulm rain seasons. Hope you have a wonderful trip!

@@rio8tree14 my suggestion is March-April and middle October to November. (The weather is good and only around April fifth and May first have public holidays) For staying, it is expensive than other places in China, but compare to Japan I will say still cheaper as my personal experience. 300-500rmb clean and modern good hotels in city is not difficult to find , it depends on your budget actually. If your budget is low, just live somewhere not too downtown but has metro stations nearby, the metro system is great in Shanghai.
Liturally tonight is my last day in shanghai im flying home tomorrow morning wish i would have seen this earlier😂 some spots and malls looked very nice

Stay within Disneyland area. I had stayed in both Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel. I prefer Toy Story Hotel as your children will enjoy the theming of the room. The last time I was at Shanghai Disneyland was in 2017 and I ate at a Halal stall Yershan Restaurant in the Republic Food court in Disneytown selling Uighyur cuisine. Then I moved to a hotel in Shanghai city and there were many halal Xinjiang type of restaurants within walking distance.
I loved this! Brought back memories from my trip, plus somethings I didn’t get a chance to do like Disneyland and visiting Suzhou :) I posted a few vids of my trip too if you’re interested! 🎉
