Contrary to what you said about EP, spend them but agreed use them wisely. I cannot confirm but I think you cap at 99 in the bank so make sure you use them. Maybe they get converted to gold clovers but Val had 99 and it was red.
Real nice tips dude. Really glad the devs went the mile to make combat/progression more meaningful in this entry. Hope Square can cover them a bit after NetEase did them dirty and pick up on updating the game with the studio gone.
Def doing that Careena weapon tomorrow when I get on the game. I’m on chapter 4 rn and I was told you can do those ruins to level up quick but the dudes just one shot me 😂
Thanks for the tips! Such a great game, it’s definitely my GOTY. I love the Mana series. I hope it does well, it’s so sad that the studio who made it is being shut down because it didn’t get enough preorders. Which sucks because it’s definitely one of those games where the combat gets way better the longer you play it.
@@MK-fm3ln Hard to say because of all the effects during fights. I see fire enchanting from Val and Palamina uses earth quake frequently. And I see regular further bufs during boss fights. At least for the weapon enchanting I have the feeling, its using the benefitional ones for the actual battle. U can deselect any spell, the ai should not use. For example I only allow Val weapon enchanting.
I heard Morley was good but I was lazy and didn’t want to learn something new. But I switched my team up when I got water alm, used Morley, and wow. His hold button power attack is a cheat code
Funny enough with tip #1, I managed to get her knuckles (Mystic Ragevise) early. I was messing around trying to see if it was possible and was pretty surprised that it was.😅
the combat is improved upon from the game trials of mana you have to center the camera by clicking in both thumb sticks if you feels it slow but you can change that to a different button prompt it helps speed up the combat with out it feel clunky as people say
also for the respecting items the 3 traveling cat's end up selling them about half way through the game so the class you choose at first don't matter and you do get a lot of EP from exploring every map in the game
This might get patched soon but as of right now (9/1/24) on PC you might notice some screen tearing on cut scenes no matter how good your set up is. This is because in cut scenes the game hard pivots back to 30FPS for some stupid reason... then normal game play is smooth. A way around this is to hit F11 twice at the start of a cut scene. I have also seen that another solution is the SpecialK mod to stabilize the games FPS... But if you don't want to install a mod the F11 twice works. Hopefully if you are reading this in the future they patched this.
6:13 - no one need to give such a guide critically. The game is good at giving you the blue highlights only when you have the ability to actually enter the fight and not signal you to examine it before.
Thanks for the Video. Well I stopped playing the game after about 10 Hours. Because it was so frustrating that I lost everything after losing against a stronger Enemy in the field. I was farming for quite some time and then died in a battle and my last save point from a saving Tree was quite some time ago when I entered the area. So this was after the second time so frustrating that I won't play it anymore. It is so stupid when you cant save anytime you want, because this way I dont want to explore anymore because the risk of losing everything again and the saving Trees are to rarely around... 😞
Try playing a NES era RPG. That will make you apoplectic. This is not frustrating. Visions of mana is insanely forgiving for saves. You can use the meridians in map mode anytime to warp back and save.
Character design is too ugly… I just don’t find this art style appealing. I can see why the sales and preorders were low. This androgynous main character was not a good choice.
@@philippeszanto9133just because you don't agree with his post doesn't mean his comment is b*******. His comment is very valid there are a lot of people who feel that way. What tips do you have for new players starting Visions Of Mana?

The camera speed tip was so nice

I'm starting this game today. Thanks for these starting tips!
My pleasure, I hope they helped!
Don't overlook debuffs.
You can use all unlocked skills even without the class equipped. Only the passiv effects require the class equipped.
If you unlock skills and let your teammate just use the AI what skills do they use ?

Ha! Just got that Mystic Revelunge. Thanks, Tag!

I only finished chapter 1 so far but for those trials I use the L2 move for Val once the second wave appears and it makes it easy
Whats the point of grinding to get stronger or getting better weapons? If the monsters scale to the same level as you are. Pointless it seems.
I set all of my characters as healers in my party. Not sure why I haven't been able to clear the dungeons
I discovered the same method for Careena on release day as well.

Great tips!
Need this game fr
Great tips! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you!!!
Can you buy more serums and elixirs in new game plus? Or is it the same as Trails of Mana

Yo that fits tip is so helpful 🫶🏾🫶🏾 and I prefer the “scuffed” footage cause that’s way more relevant to us than the perfect gameplay hehe ❤

I did the glitch with Val, you don't need Careena first
this glitch is hard for me to do. i manage to get to the last glitch jump and not get it to work.
@@nosgothreaper9973 it'll take some tries for sure, it took about 30 minutes of attempts on the pillar part
as of this comment it still is not patched. hopefully they learn about it soon

This is an old school RPG. Anytime you play an RPG always save as often as possible
You can teleport anytime to a save meridian.
So you're done playing cause you're fucking stupid? Got it.

Its called save often…smh kids
How TF do I convert my gold clovers?!?!
When you get to the elemental pot. They're like extra points for when the actual points run out
@curtdragon ah I see. when your EP runs out, gold clovers will be used in their place automatically. Thanks!!
@@FredHerbert999 yes but dont use them, you will have a lot of EP and you get some naturally from leveling and from interactions
a tip that is an exploit is a really bad video starter, downvote. I'm here for hidden mechanics not cheese bs.
Ignore it. Soyboy
Boohoo
