Tzvi Erez plays Chopin's Waltz Opus 69 No. 1 in A Flat Major "L'adieu" from original Urtext. Recorded 2003 on a 1912 Bosendorfer. Better Quality Video. No Commentary. P & C 2003 Niv Classical Records. www.nivmusic.com - Видеоклипы
This music has a interesting story. Chopin visited a family in a little city. This family (woldzinski) was friend of chopin's family. The daughter of one of the wodzinki, named Maria, felt in love with Chopin and his amazing and romantic music. He composed this music as a music to say goodbye.
When you're learning it, it's hard. When you've learned it, it's not... The hardest is the runs, and it takes time. But when you're finished you can play it, and it's easy to remember!
How can someone create something so perfect ?
I like modern music but damn, classical music is full of emotions
Chopin has such a distinctive sound to all of his pieces. All signed with a very unique and superb signature.
That was awesome!!! I'm 10 and playing that song in a competition in August 2010. Wish me luck!!
I love all the people saying this is easy and such. It is easy to play, however it is difficult to play it correctly, i.e., interpretively. This piece really speaks when played well, that's why it's my favorite waltz. At my college audition I'm going to play la campanella, the volodos turkish march, and end with this piece.
At 0:29 He was thinking " Damn, I'm that Good."
At 0:33 He was thinking " I Hope the camera didn't catch that."
Every time I hear this song,I would imagined I'm with somebody I love on the balcony in a hotel staring at the Eiffel Tower the after-rain night.
SO ROMANTIC~
Piano playing reminds me so much of ballet. You put everything you have into making it perfect and there are a million things to think about at once. Also, they're extremely difficult to perform yet, if done right, it seems effortless to the audience.
There is so much feeling coming out from this piece. This is such a wonderful performance.
im learning this, its a beautiful art
I've never listened before this performer but I feel this interpretation very deep.
The best I've ever heard till now here on youtube.
This is played so lovely. I never cared for this piece until I heard this verson. Absolutely stunning...
I'm a high school senior, and I'm learning this piece for finals in advanced piano :)
I'm 10 and I'm playing this for a really important audition... Wish me luck!
genius melody,
chopin is greatest composer
Well, i don't know too much about Chopin, so i only got my gut feelings to go to. I have found that slower interpretations of the piece are more emotional to me. But that might just be that i like everything slow. When i hear something too fast, sometimes i'm listening to fast to feel the emotions.
I never knew how great Cortot was untill I hear other pianists play Chopin....
he makes it look so easy, and it is anything but!
it's just SO wonderful! Chopin's music is just perfect!! LOVE IT!!
BRAVO!!!!!
I listen to this remarkable piece every morning, the calm, poignancy is just.............
Alone in The Dark!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely devine. Mr. Erez holds the key to Chopin's musical genius...
its such a wonderful piece. love it so much.
Meraviglioso
Depth and joy in one! Brilliant!
what a wonderful performance.
o.o so lovely!!!!!!!!!!!
A superb performance!!
beautiful piece,,,loved it
this composition is beautiful. it sounds so romantic. i just finished it. and hopefully i could play it for my next recital.
Tzvi Erez es mi modelo a seguir . Gracias por sus canciones.
Hard to believe that this is only a 6th grade piece :) If your too daunted by it, just go for it - its a nice piece to play and slightly easier then it looks
This is my exam piece , so nervous to play it .... wish me luck =)
beautiful and so romantic!!!
Love this song!
How wonderful!!!!
really wonderful!
Chopin, genio, gracias, gracias, gracias...
Beautiful!
His version is the one on RUclips that sounds closest to mine. I was surprised that I didn't enjoy Valentina Lisitsa's interpretation, it felt rushed and took too many degrees of freedom that it sounded too affected... it's interesting and unique, yes, but I like this version. all player comparisons aside, one of my favorite pieces of all time. OF ALL TIME.
this piece is amazing
I love it!!!
very well played, bravissimo!!
BRAVO!!!!!
It reminds me of the movie "the others"and fills me with fear😭
i'm in 5th grade and studying this piece. wish me luck!
@sebastianrc trust me, there are children that play this real well. they "FEEL" the music. It is sometimes DEFINITELY their level.
I Remember this piece on the movie "The Others"
I´m about to learn this piece. Wish me luck!!!
This is Romantic, not Classical Era music. :o
impressive. turn this vid in to the record company. u rock those keys.
I heard that song in a Taiwanese movie before..Its indeed captivating & calm.. :D
I can play it on the piano too! :) prettiest song eva!
@TheSunGlassesThing : exactly!
chopin wrote this for his first girlfriend because her parents cancelled their planned marriage and forced them to seperate.
I 1st heard this song in the video game "Alone in the Dark", always struck me as 'creepy' as a kid, 25 years later I can hear the tale of romance that never was......
Non commento. Non esistono commenti per la genialità.
@TheSunGlassesThing Thats right. Music has NOTHING to do with age, its on how musical and how much you feel it.
It is writen in the relative minor of Ab: Fm.
same here :)
beautiful. ive been searching for this tune for a long time. a song i once knew how to play. not fully lol FECK!
Piękne jak cała POLSKA
schoenberg, ravel etc are also composers of modern music. modern classical music, actually.
It's wrong to think only of stuff like pop, rock, when one hears the word modern music.
Dear Tzvi, this is simply magnificent. Could you please give me the details about your piano? The tone is absolutely gorgeous...
using this as reference to improve my play for tomorrow's competition
How is it that any person who is truly alive could hit the "dislike" button regarding this rendition.
Great! Many pianists play this piece with too much rubato, but not you!
Even if it's a romantic piece the fact that it's a waltz makes me play it without too much rubato.
Very well played anyway.
good luck!
@gatjenny2000 its the pianist leaning in when he plays the passage i guess :P
it is a fairly simple piece. but the diffucult part is using rubuto to your advantage, but other thn that, is should be quite easy to learn
I noticed between 1:57 and 2:02 i see a shadow besides on the left hand, something like it touches some key on the piano, sound creepy but i've watched it over and over again, and i cant be wrong. ... weird .... anyways, this piece is very well played.
@K0lozo however its bps is 120
I love the way you play and just asking if you had ever had a MasterClass , to improve your playing.
me too !!!
but i learn piano since 8 years and this year, this is my evaluation...
it's so difficult !
but the melody is so cute and I always have the song in my heart !
have a good continuation, see you soon !
Charming!!!!
@1Lisztener1 good for you :)
im playing this atm and, SHIT U NEED TO PUT SOOOOO MUTCH sophistical, filosophistical emotions in it to make it good, this was not as simple as i though it was like, like not too mutch dramatic romance, else it doesnt sound right, so hard in some way x')
HELLO! 484 left!
mi piace + il pianoforte k il èpianista....
484 what left?
You may be an expert in music but i'm not. I'm refering to this kind of music as classical because that's how we define in general :)
me too!!! im playing it for CM test NOOOOOO
Farewell valse
@kamirajane95 Do you mean 'Secret'? I love that movie :)
@0011486 exactly, con espressione...
@1Lisztener1 Would you be able to record a small video and upload it here so we all can see and HEAR your claim?
@0011486 i feel the same way my friend.
@llethaface11
Can you pick any one point in your life where there is not one hint of sadness?
Quite ambitious!!! Knock em' dead!
@TheSunGlassesThing I agree with you, as a matter of fact I don't like when little childs play Chopin, it is not at their level, perhaps it is from a technical point of view but Chopin and romantic pieces are beyond technical interpretations and the musicality one needs to play it relies in feeling and living. Yours here is great comment!
@MangaLover210 Its playing with time... Increase the speed and slow down around the time line. Like the leaves dancing in the wind whereas the trunk don't move, that's rubato. It's tipical of the romantic music... (chopin, schumann...)
