CEC is an HDMI feature commonly found on TVs (and some monitors) - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consumer_Electronics_Control. Power LED is what it sounds like, it allows you to disable the power LED. Not sure what you're specifically referencing with "3 minutes" and turning off the display, could you provide a time stamp?
when i enable HDR and i go to the settings in OSD, there are no settings such as brightness/contrast etc... under the individual HDR presets (such as HDR Game etc...) I can only select each preset, with no further options showing
There are no flat models that are this wide, and they would be really odd if they did exist in my view. The curve here is subtle as covered in the review.
I don't do recommendations by brand, but by merit - pcmonitors.info/articles/best-gaming-monitors/. Plenty of good options out there. - it depends on your budget and preferences, really.

Will there be a full review of this monitor?
Of course. I don't ever just calibrate and record videos on a monitor without fully reviewing it! 😉
I have the 240hz model but it wont let me use the screensaver features etc. Or stark shadow boosts etc ?
what is CEC, and what is Power LED? Also you meant turn off your display after 3 min right? (how it says in settings, not sleep)

Interesting... Do you have the "L" model (144Hz) or the 240Hz one?

R1000 is probably the best for 32:9, even for work, as you can see easily almost everything.
@@PCMonitors What about Dell 27" G2724D?
Are you aware of the ABL setting on this monitor? And were you able to find a way to disable it? It seems to occur while gaming
ABL behaviour is covered in the review. It doesn't have a specific setting on this model and is fairly light under SDR.
