this was very cool, I love seeing calculation deconstructed it was very informative, great format for teaching chess as oppose to the conventional 10 maybe 15 minute games where the GM like Danya has to rush to explain ideas
at lower levels especially, f4 nf3 is great because you get the f file all for yourself, and your opponent never knows how to handle it. Lots of very intuitive sacrifices etc.
Forget about everything else i learnt a hell lot about king's gambit from this stream! I watched GM daniel king's interview on this opening but i swear learnt more about king's gambit in this stream....thanks to GM Eric.... you are wonderful teacher player and streamer

@@mouwersor I recorded/watched all of the world chess championship. My attention span is fine. I don’t have the time to watch a 47 minute chess game that literally doesn’t matter. You really must not have a job or family or responsibilities if this is how you spend your free time.
No win against a 1200 warrants a KO. I must be getting better. I see moves before Eric plays them. Example: I called for the exchange sac RxN(e8)+ and then Nd5 forking B/Q/K 2 moves before Eric played it. Eric first played Qh5+ and then Qh3 before my recommended line!

I actually like these long, meditative games. Not every video has to be a flex. Having the time to think along with Eric in real-time is great
