Super video! I am a recent owner of the classic r 1200 r, I find the power a bit daunting, I ride a bit sedate, but love the bike , my other is RE bullet. These two have history, character and will last forever. If you have class and want to hide a super sport muscle bike in a tuxedo, this is the one! would like to know your camera model.
Hi Max, I have been riding a 2013 Triumph Speed Triple this year that I recently had to give back to Triumph USA :( I will be riding another one soon and am looking forward to the new SP3 in 2016. That said, the 2015 BMW R1200R looks to be an awesome machine with the new engine and traditional forks. I'll do a review as soon as I get my hands on one. I use a GoPro Hero 3 Silver.
Not adjustable; however, there are seven seat options available from BMW and two of them are high seats. Of course a customized seat is not hard to achieve either.
That's just riding properly. Lol the R1200R can be ridden much harder. However that road surface wasn't great. Although that being said this bike can handle bad roads impeccably. You do however need to ride it properly. The Telelever suspension requires a more positive approach. You must accelerate through the bends properly. Cheers all must take mine out.
"If the bonneville is too cool for school and you feel like spending twice the price" BEST way to start a review ever. :)
Such a beautiful bike. Classic BMW. Quality, power, class.
Does it have enough torqu, why driving on the 3 and 4th gear al the time?
Good demo -- great bike.
Have the same since last year june. Love it to bits.
great moto riding video i seen ever!

I love your videos!
So one question: which bike do you drive privatly?
And which GoPro do you use?

Ok this is a nice bike
Are you thinking about buying a bmw?
MaxM No. It'll be super fun to ride, but I'm into the big triple right now.
Ok thanks
unfortunably I've never ridden a triumph
MaxM You should change that!
I'm curious to see your review of the 2015 r1200r. Going to do one?
You bet! I've been waiting 2 years for that motor to make it's way to the R. I'll have a video up as early as this weekend.
Cal Moto Great! to hear! I'm chomping at the bit and your review might be the tipping point for me.
Will McClintock Have you uploaded the 2015 yet? It's AWOL.
Will McClintock Nevermind. Found it!
You have the best fuckin' job!
In lieu of $, it is very entertaining.
Can you get a taller, more streamlined seat, or is the seat height adjustable?
Not adjustable; however, there are seven seat options available from BMW and two of them are high seats. Of course a customized seat is not hard to achieve either.
that overreving ride tho, i'ts not a 600 inline 4 ;) i'm driving two or 3 speed lower lol
True, it's perfectly fine at 3k RPM's, but it's not the older hex-head SOHC motor either. It's DOHC and really wakes up at 5k RPM's
You, sir, are the reason why I never buy an ex-demo bike. The bike was obviously brand new but that didn't stop you from caning it. Fail.
Shut up.
@@calmoto9073 He makes a good point though.
It’s always more fun when it’s not yours

Thats not caning it he is miles off the redline
A little UNDER 500 lbs. at least according to BMW. 493 curb wt.
Damn this thing sounds like shit. Needs an exhaust on it yesterday
