Revisiting old videos, and came across this. It's funny how 8 years ago $14K was expensive. Today, in the age of $20,000+ literbikes, at $30K adventure bikes, it's considered a deal.

Ignore all the negative comments. This bike is the best Bonnie they ever made. Such a fun great handling MC. I get compliments all the time, people, love the look. This is my 5th 865 Bonnie, I’ve tried the T120, Street win and the old SE 865 still pleases me better.

Did he say it weighs 266lbs wet? Probably closer to 366lbs dry but probably under 400lbs.

this model, the Sport, doesnt have the proximity sensors. It' s the GT version which has it and they flash on the actual mirrors.

It’s got good power, but gearing is all wrong for around-town. The speedometer is merely a “suggestion”, about 4-5 mph “optimistic”. The electronic cruise is nice, as long as 3 mph “swing” is acceptable. For this to be a “premium brand”, it’s the little things that have disappointed me. Won’t get any more from BMW.
