  • "I've got a secret" was a game show where a panel of celebrities would try to figure out something "secret" about people invited to be on the show. In this particular episode the panel has tennis players Dennis Ralston and Chuck Mckinley. Along with their teammates, Ralston and Mckinley have just accomplished something remarkable.

Wonderful to see Bobby Darin; and know, thanks to RUclips, the purpose for which he appeared, a cause "close to his heart" - promoting the work of the AHA - can still have an impact today. I'm finding Garry Moore's "'I've Got A Secret" indeed special in so many ways.

I didn’t recognize the names from the title, until I saw the gentlemen, and thought these were U.S. tennis players. Only because I’m a tennis fan, and history buff.

RUclips provides a dual benefit in revisiting this earlier time. We can recognize the irony, sure; also celebrate how far we've come with awareness. I love the fact Bobby Darin beyond the grave is perhaps introduced to future generations; and, he is able to promote a worthy cause. shall we say close to his heart, likewise to new generations. Bobby Darin lived an extraordinary life given the cards he was dealt.

Bobby Darin had a secret alright. For anyone who doesn't know, read his Wikipedia bio and then watch his tribute on "This is Your Life" here on YT. It's absolutely heartbreaking when you realize you know the truth and at that time he doesn't. You see him being upset when they talk about his mother dying and the pride his sister shows when talking about him.
