Not sure if you remember but the “chi-blocking” was introduced by one of Azula’s trio (Ty Lee)!! Her and Mai never had bending but could always go toe-to-toe with non-benders :)
Amon is badass. And it's not right to be labeled as the bad guy for wanting equality. Good luck trying to figure out who Amon is, but I wouldn't dwell on it.
Just to let you know most benders lack close combat experience since they're use to using mid to long range attacks. Also some fans say that Amon has no proof of non benders being oppressed even if that's true non-benders are underestimated heck even by the fans themselves at times

You are starting to see examples of Korra being corrected. She's stubborn and she has this really naive view on the world. You can see it in her conversation with Mako. "What are you, some kind of criminal?!" quickly became, "Damn bro...you were just a kid."
She was kept away from the world for so long growing up, which is why I understood her response & was glad when she realized they had no other choice. She finally starting to realize this is the world that she has to protect and fight for peace. Good catch!

Right on! I was underestimating them but not anymore 😳 I wonder how the benders can neutralize them in close combat since it’s their weakness.
