went to mine expo 2004, cat had a D11 on display at sezars palace in las vegas, i asked cat rep could we have tickets to go and see it, it was a show for cat dealers in the USA , had a great time buffet few beers and climbed all over the D 11 like a big kid, great memories of a fab event, living here in the u,k we only have cat d 10 and not many of them,
Stokey plant had 2 Cat D 10,s on a coal site in Merthyr Tydfil about 1994,fist time I'd seen a D 10, made a great video of it on a sunny day iN july ,but can't find it now,would love to put it on U Tube.

our local Art Museum has a a metal circle imbedded in the asphalt on the front drive and they call it art. They also have a pile of rock in another wing and they call it art. If you drove this D 11 up the front stairs and parked it in the lobby - now THAT would be Art I d be willing to pay to see😊
This is the 2nd D11T.This D11Ts mufflers are closer to the front and pointed away from the cab.The 1st D11T has mufflers that are closer to the front window and stand higher then the cab

yes but this video does not belong to awesome earthmovers I have seen it on another channel before and before this was uploaded in 2012. the new EU rule about to kick in will shut tens of thousands of channels like this where people are stealing other peoples material, just google "EU COPYRIGHT ARTICLE 13" You will see what I mean. EVEN if you have used a photo of a machine that is not yours your fked and will have your channel demonitised on the first strike and then two more strikes and your channel is terminated NO appeal NO way to complain...

I am happy to say that I was able to add this to my toy fleet I've already used it in the field a few times to help remove snow that we got in North Carolina last winter
What is interesting is dozer weight to payload weight is like 4:1 which is pretty bad. Impressive for current tech but we need a better, more efficient power source. How about Nuclear?!!
How much?? And fuel consumption?? Impressively expensive on both I'm betting. Still, what a machine. I'd sure like to be the one that got to get it dirty on it's first day at work. Wow...

There's definitely a D11 in the U.k. I think it belongs to Stokey. I seen Komatsu's D11 equivalent in Northern Ireland once, The D475A
