Had my 6" for 30 years. 2 sets of bearings, new pads and still going great. No RSI from vibration - Unlike every other brand. LOVE it. Well worth the money.

Very nice results. I am passionate about dust control. I have a similar sander that I use with a Festool vacuum and there is almost no dust to deal with.

Great job, Tom. I especially love the inlay and how you highlighted it. IMO, the $700.00 is a waste of money, but then I am cheap and I have more time than money, so I will stick with my DeWalt and take my time. Have a good Sunday.

I was going to say “I can’t believe Tom bought a Festool sander!” Nice to know you didn’t. 😃 Of course, we could let it slide if you “found it in the alley.” 😆 Great looking restoration! Very nice job.

If I bought that myself, I think I would need to change my channel name.

That's a nice inlay on the table top - isn't there a danger of sanding through the veneer with the aggressive setting? Well, it certainly looks like a very God tool but I can't help thinking that at least half of that price is for the name. But if you want to borrow any of my gear, well you know where I am. Cheers Tom.

Hi Mark. There is a danger with any sander going through the veneer. The general rule is that once the finish is gone, you are playing a risky game.

Tom, the Alley Picker, buy a $700 sander? In what world would that ever happen? He would rather sand his fingers to the nubs!
