i wish these 2 teams could play every year. this was as exciting a game as you could have last season. back and forth. two great comebacks in the 4th quarter. i am a buckeye, and i was so pissed afterwards, but i tip my hat to the horns for pulling it out.
The replays (EVEN TRESSEL'S CHALLENGE) proved that it was a proper spot. I can post the replay where osu challenges the spot of the ball and it was CONFIRMED a FIRST DOWN. He caught it right at the 1st down mark and was pushed back. osu coaching staff was barking in a failed attempt to get it moved back, but the officials called it right. Your heart is noble to want to believe it was a bad spot but after so many replays ... it was good! HOOK 'EM!
To come from behind like that, take the lead and lose in the final seconds...That's a heartbreaker. The Juco team I played for last year lost one just like that-we were down 30-13 at the start of the 4th quarter. With 2 minutes left, we took a 33-30 lead. Then their quarterback marched them down the field and ran it in for 6 with 13 seconds left-it looked a lot like VY's touchdown in the Rose Bowl. If there's a best way to lose a game, that's it.
I'm from East Texas and one of the local universities (Lamar) is bringing back a football program after about 20 years. I saw that A&M scheduled them for a pre-conference game lol. Alot of guys I played with in high school are going to play on that team, it'll be the first or second game in a few decades for this little bitty university in Beaumont...and the Aggs play them lol. That's kinda lame.
Both teams deserved to win, but only one could. Texas wasn't necessarily the better team, I think we were pretty evenly matched. As an OSU student and fan, I don't begrudge Texas for winning. They made a play when they needed to, just like we did against Wisconsin, just like TTU did against Texas. At the end, we just scored too quickly, and gave McCoy 24 seconds too many. 24 seconds and one missed tackle are a heartbreaking way to lose, but that's football. We'll be back next year w/ Pryor.

dude, i don't want to take anything away from ohio st, but texas beat 3 out of 4 straight top-11 teams... ohio st was embarrassed by usc and lost to penn st, their only two real tests last year. i agree, pryor will be a beast... maybe not next year, but definitely jr/sr year.

Quit your bitching! The play was reviewed and the replays showed that he CLEARLY got the FOOTBALL over the marker! While his feet didn't cross the marker, the ball did! and since he wasn't down before getting the BALL across the marker, it's a FIRST DOWN! Get over it!
great game, i just wish osu won considering how much crap people give us fans, but i hate espn always favoring osu's opponent, so fucking biased, and no offense to any longhorns fans when i say this, i mean u guys are definitely better than osu, but u guys were out of ur mind on that last play in ur game vs. nebraska, it almost costed u the game, but good luck in ur game vs. bama go bucks!
