    Is partial empty sella treatable and what is it ?

    • @theneuroradiologist
      @theneuroradiologist  2 месяца назад

      just a descriptive term for a (somewhat) enlarged sella turcica with no or flattened pituitary tissue in it, a lot of times just an incidental finding, probably secondary to CSF-herniation in the sella through a broad gap in the sellar diaphragm, not leading to clinical symptoms. In other cases secondary to, for instance, surgery, radiation therapy or pituitary apoplexia.
