iJustine can you please do a video on how to start a Lego minifigure collection and where to buy the Lego minifigure's and where to buy the the Lego shelves and how would we know if a new series of Lego minifigure's has came out and can you give us some Lego sets suggestions such as Lego Batman, Lego ghostbusters, Lego Star Wars, Lego Ninjago,Lego Simpsons and more I love you so much 😍😍 ijustine. p.s. ijustine I have been asking you this for a long time I guess you didn't see my comment cause you were busy doing Tech videos but now you can see it. Can you please do a video I love you so much 😍😍 ijustine.
Omg Believe it or not, justine nas started a new genre of funny baking and cooking vids lol, even if she realizes it or not !!! I thouroughly enjoy her cooking videos
The reason that the consistency is off is probably because you over blended it. Whenever you make the filling in a blender, you have to do it on a low speed and make sure to only blend it until it's combined. If you mix it too long it will completely ruin the texture of the final product. If you see this I hope it helps. Good luck!❤
I don't think I have ever laughed that much in my entire life. Your cooking videos are literally THE BEST. My cheeks still hurt from the laughing! 😂 Your "Pumpking Poo Pie" recipe definitely needs to be replicated!
lol I make pumpkin pie every year. 1) yes, it should be liquidy 2) I never put a top crust on mine 3) you bake it at a high temp for like 15 minutes on 425 then you turn it down to 350 for 45 minutes. 4) Always take the crust out beforehand. 5) The crack in the center is normal. 6) It defo needs to cool completely to like COLD before you eat. Ahhh I love your baking videos
To all new viewers: she is diverse so that is why she is a lobster and a tech nerd and bakes and reviews all the things! iJustine: you should bake a pie FROM SCRATCH, actually making the crust and the filling and make put egg on the top to make it shine so you know when it is cooked 😁😁
i dont have any tips for pumpkin pies, but based on your baking ability, i feel like itd be fun to see your attempt at a mirror glaze, if you havent already done so :P
Aww Justine, you should have blind baked the pie crust before putting the filling it.. but it was really not bad for your first time! And the crust on top would actually taste good in my opinion
Make holes with a fork in the bottom crust, so the crust doesn't form air pockets while baking. The instructions on the pumpkin can will say the mixture will be thin. Set the oven at 375 and bake for fifteen minutes. Then, lower the oven to 350 and finish baking for another 45 minutes. Put a cookie sheet under the pie pan, to avoid spilling the mixture in the oven, so you don't have to clean it later. lol
My mom makes the recipe from the back of the can and it turns out great. Here are some helpful tips. First of all, yes the batter is supposed to be liquidy before cooking. So you were okay there. Second, you're essentially making a pumkin custard. Custard need to cool down, and preferable refrigerate for a few hours before serving. This will give the pie time to firm up. Also, you can pre-bake your bottom crust before pouring in the filling if you choose. This can prevent the crust from getting soggy during the baking process.
I make the pie every year for my family. #1 Get a frozen pie crust #2 Don't use a blender for the filling! #3 Pumpkin pie spice = all the spices you need in the right ratio. You only need 1 1/2 tsp. The top crust probably messed up the baking a little. Also, I leave that silicone crust protector on the whole baking time. Seriously. I have the same one! But it looks good for your first try!
OK... I have been making LIbby's pumpkin pies using a blender for many years now... the recipe just works. Really, the only issues Justine ran into here was with the crust, not the filling.
The important thing is you tried. You didn’t do too bad. You HAVE to follow the directions on the can for temperature and time. The pumpkin cracks in the middle when it cooks too long. I like the crust on top. It’s different but cute.
How to have a good laugh when your in need of one...watch some iJustine cooking videos...seriously...they'll bring a giggle...or a million easily. Thanks Justine, seriously good laughs.
Hope you keep making food-related videos. love them Baking is not an easy concept! I love your videos Justine even though if you mess up. We all do. PS when your baking, make sure you have the specific ingredients and measurements. It's not like cooking food when you can measure by taste. That's what I got taught. Love you!
It's not as common, but some people do put a top crust on pumpkin pie. I've actually bought pumpkin pies from the store with a top crust. One of two things happened with the consistency. It was either over mixed, or it needed a few more minutes. The second being one of the reasons you don't normally see a top crust on custard pies like pumpkin pie. The variation in liquid content, and region the recipe is being made makes cooking times vary considerably. I was lucky growing up to have had my Grandmother and Mother both teach me almost everything they knew. I also use to watch the Food Network a lot back when it was nothing but shows that taught you how to cook.
Justice I think you done very well with making a pumpkin pie because all the pictures I seen of it on instagram look so good. Also you should do more videos like this.
I've never had a pumpkin pie but instead a pumpkin tart. Also, I've made cheesecake and the cream on top came out too liquidy. I remade it and the cream on the second one came out so much better. I tried again. If you try again, you may just get it right a second time. It's just a case of trial and error wherein if you fail, you try again with some differences and might succeed. That's what happened with the cheesecake, so it could happen to the pumpkin pie if you try again (I well understand that these are two different foods, all I'm saying is that I tried again and it came out better a second time. The same could easily apply to a pumpkin pie).
If it doesn't poison anyone, that counts as a win. Bonus points if it tastes good. You could always go to "cook from scratch" classes or perhaps hang out with little old ladies who know how to turn ingredients into dishes.
try a half pack of instant vanilla jello pudding. it will firm up when cooked. I did runny pumpkin pie cheesecake until my sis told me to add the jello.
Gosh, I gasped 3 times watching this video. I feel so sad for you. Even my mom feels bad. I kind of eel like giving you a hug right now. On the bright side, think of all the other things you ARE good at. :)
Ijustine iam not surprised that there will be a total disaster when you are in the in the kitchen and will bake or cook. Still remember when they got to use the fire extinguisher. Iam amazed how you succeed in making that kind of mess over and over but it's really great videos :P
Thanks for watching guys ;)

Oh my gosh watching Justine cooking gives me life 😭😂
It actually looks really good and I didn’t even realize the top layer till Jenna mentioned it.
Pumpkin pie with a crust on top would be dope as hell you may be onto something.
lol I make pumpkin pie every year. Aww Justine, you should have blind baked the pie crust before putting the filling it.. but it was really not bad for your first time! And the crust on top would actually taste good in my opinion
I️ used the same pie recipe as Justine and I️t said to use unbaked crust.
Didn’t she make an apple pie in 2013 For the iPhone five S is that the right year?

Omg, you’re always so sad when it’s not what it’s supposed to be 😂😂😂 that is so funny. I guess everyone wants to hug 🤗 you when it happens 😂😂😂

She's so extra and I love it😂💗
I’ve never ever thought to use a hair dryer to get ingredients to room temperature haha. You’re a genius
I made pumpkin pie once. It was really good actually. I made everything from scratch. It was delicious.

Justine: My bad!

lmao is that a screensaver on the BLENDER? (0:07)
OK... I have been making LIbby's pumpkin pies using a blender for many years now... the recipe just works. Really, the only issues Justine ran into here was with the crust, not the filling.
I think you needed condensed milk, not evaporated milk. Condensed milk is thicker and sweetened.
crispypoulet yes also I think the blender over blended the ingredients which is why it came out soupy.
crispypoulet not true, evaporated milk works
Not in this case it didn't...
@@The_Keeper I've made it with evaporated milk and it turned out perfect
Evaporated milk and sugar is the same as condensed mil
The important thing is you tried. You didn’t do too bad. You HAVE to follow the directions on the can for temperature and time. The pumpkin cracks in the middle when it cooks too long. I like the crust on top. It’s different but cute.
At 5:02 she called it a pumpkin poo pie... and she did not lie:-) it looked like poo....
Lol I can picture Rosanna watching this and just shaking her head throughout the entire video
I love when she cooks or bakes but I get so stressed something when she doesn't follow the recipe or measure the right way
Justine's cooking videos give me life hahaha 😂😂😂😂😂
When I need room temperature ingredients
“ I’m the microwave you go😅😅”
How to have a good laugh when your in need of one...watch some iJustine cooking videos...seriously...they'll bring a giggle...or a million easily. Thanks Justine, seriously good laughs.
