Well, the thing with IM is they pick up and drop secondary-genre's as they like. Now this is just my deduction but I'd suppose that number of dubstep fans heard army of mushrooms and figured they'd be in for more of those wub-heavy beats here. They aren't aware of IM's psychedelic core-genre, so this is a shock to them. ...Or something. I'm not a scientist. Personally, I still think converting vegetarians was the best album.
Dr White that would be my guess as well. Most people I've met have a strange aversion to anything related to psytrance/goa. I mean yeah it's certainly not everyone's cuppa but wow if all of those who are hating on psytrance would go to a psytrance rave/event even once I think they would change their minds. Nothing, absolutely nothing beats the feeling of being there and letting the music carry you away; I've never taken drugs of any kind but I'd imagine that's what being high feels like. Whenever I come home from an event like that I feel really empty inside, like something's missing when I can't hear the music anymore. I think that speaks volumes (no pun intended :D)
I will be honest.. i was really furious when they decided to cut away from the trance/psy patterns that i enjoyed as a little kid. furious and dissapointed. but... Greatness is here again, with all of infected's wonders packed inside. It is truelly, a breath taking masterpiece and i feel they enjoyed doing this one. the love of trance has come back in a big way for these 2 and i am once again proud to call them the best on planet earth.. best album in years and one of their best ever! shabat shalom to all you haters, when is your album comming out?

I do kinda like the heavier guitar stuff, or when they're guitarist just sings with his instrument. I wish they utilized that more but this is an album I'll listen to many years to come. I hear new aspects every time I listen to it. I think that is what makes a great album.

I still think Classical Mushroom and Converting Vegetarians were their best albums, but having no issues enjoying this... why all the hate? It's closer to their original style than anything released 2007-2012 or even their more recent Friends with Mushrooms/CV2. A bit more punchy, less experimental, but recognisably IM.

really like this, album compared to the shitty dubsteplike albums before this reminds me more of their good old trancy stuff best in my opinion is still classical mushrooms from 2000 i guess it was. In my opinion RTTS is a success.

I didn't like a few of their original albums until going back through them a few more times only to discover more and more songs that I eventually liked more than their more renown tracks. Not everyone will be pleased, but the fanbase is turning into pure shit/ literal garbage - not the music. Don't like it? Don't listen to it.
+ArnyRecords Psytrance is fantastic. Raja Ram and IM were true innovators in the genre, pushing out the mainstream bullcrap and bringing in something new. Junkie ravers? That's fake news.
