"EXCEPTIONALLY BEAUTIFUL " Can't stop listening to this masterpiece. Such a sentimental and angelic voices. This is the best version I've heard so far. So soothing, uplifting and emotionally rewarding. To sum it up all up " BRILLIANT " Incredible work. Happy holidays. Fakafetai lasi atu. Alofa from a Tuvaluan/Samoan. God bless 🙏🎊🏝🇹🇻🇼🇸🇦🇸❤👍
Nice seeing this old Avele Choir 1999 song. Here is the 2013 version of it playing by the same person Le Po Paia by Revival Nona | Tahular Band | aBEL4tunes
Beautiful song sung with such beautiful voices! The only HUGE let down for me was the pronunciation of words ending with the letter "u" or has a "u" in it. Is there a reason why words such as "Iesu", "tupu", "atu", "pupula", "faatuatua", "filemu" are sung like how a palagi would pronounce it? "Iee-sewwww (Iesu)", "poo-poo-lah (pupula)", "faa-too-ah-too-ah (faatuatua), "too-poo (tupu)" like really? It sounds tacky, ugly and very matagā. Ruined the whole song. Our Samoan language is so beautiful, unique and probably one of the oldest of languages! It's sad to hear when words are mispronounced. Understandable if you're just learning the language, but I doubt the members of this amazing choir were just learning to speak Samoan for the first time. Anyways, aside from that, beautiful voices and beautiful arrangement. Malo lava.
Beautiful song and voices! The only let down is the soloist and the pronunciation of words such as "tumau", "Iesu", "fanau", certain words with the letter "u" in it. Is there a reason why it's sung like how a palagi would pronounce these words? Such as "Iesu" sung as Ie-sewww or fanaaa-ewwww. It sounds tacky and very mataga and not how these words are supposed to be pronounced. That's the huge let down of the song for me. There is power in WORDS especially in our beautiful Samoan language! Be good to do our language justice by pronouncing the words the way it should be pronounced. Otherwise, the voices are absolutely beautiful!
