Otis hydraulic glass elevator at Beckhausstraße subway station in Bielefeld

While the other elevator at Beckhausstraße subway station has been replaced (see • Flügel & Klement tract... ), this one is still mostly original. The station is located below a busy intersection, with elevators at two opposing corners and stairs at the other two corners. A single track railway bridge diagonally crosses the intersection. It is used by regional trains from Bielefeld via Lage to Lemgo and Altenbeken.
Meanwhile, Beckhausstraße subway station is located on a line to Altenhagen. Shortly after this station, trains run on street level as light rail. As a result, the station is not that far underground. Every other station on this section is on street level, except for Baumheide, which is partially underground (and has a single elevator: • Lödige hydraulic glass... ).

Ganz aktuell ist das Video nicht, oder? Meines Wissens ist man nämlich inzwischen dabei, diesen Aufzug auch auszutauschen.
