Mainly because yours was a more on the point with how Dir en grey tried to express their world but a more simplified and understandable version. There’s too many Kyos live where he did the live it’s damaged vocal or did it without much maintenance. Most of all thank you for subscription! It breaks my heart when the damage done to his voice becomes apparent and you can hear him struggle. But it's hard to find a compromise between proper technique and exhibiting your emotions fully. Kyo has always been a “feeler” when it comes to singing xD.
Ayo Yeah he had some serious surgery on his throat in 2012. Lots of people thought he won't be back or never be the same anymore. He's also deaf in one ear both for doing too much live. But as you can see with the 2016 "Tousei" live, he came back even better XD Anyways, I'll just wait for next vid since you seem to keep picking songs I like to hear covered lol.
