Brilliant and so inspiring for using papers and pieces of papers by hinging them. I so often have things leftover and hate to throw them away. This helps avoid throwing away pieces that I love. Thank you, Rachel !
I love this video, Rachel! It’s not flashy & fun like most of yours, but it’s an absolutely wonderful tutorial. It’s really helpful to see all different combinations & variations on a single theme. The repetition is fantastic & I think being able to go back to this when I’m actually making page combinations will be invaluable. Thanks so much!
Moving on the 16th. Yes yes yes and I have my new printer. Yes yes yes. Lol. Now I know how to fill my time till Steve sets up my system. Again great idea.
I liked watching you putting these hinged pages together out of what looked like a random stack of pages. I've started collecting some pages from books that aren't all the same size or just too small to fold as you mentioned, so I'm now inspired to get some of them out along with my stack of one sided thin patterned scrapbook paper and make some hinges :) Thank you for working so hard on the 100 day project to bring us all these good ideas!
These are very cool with all your unique and antique papers! I have paper envy! I think I will have to get very creative to make these, good to stretch my creative mind! Thanks for sharing! 🌸😊🌸
This is brilliant. I have wanted a way to use the pictures from smaller books without folding or making journal cards. Thank you for sharing this. I look forward to seeing your creativity at work. Blessings.
Sooo many goodies turning into future wonderful journal pages!!! You are awesome 👏🏼 and love ❤️ the decisions you make during process, i wish i could prepare like that… 💕🌸♥️💕🌸💕♥️sending love to italy
I remember asking you about your papers and you mentioned about hinging papers and from then till now I love hinging papers. So thank u for the great idea.😍💕🌴
Good afternoon. I love hinging pages. I prefer them the right way up. I usually strengthen the antique double pages with a strip of paper before sewing in.
Super idea to achieve page's that aren't the correct sizes. I'm making a second junk journal & wish I knew some of your fab tips. Really enjoy your videos, they make me laugh, relaxed & worry less thanks for that. I work similarly to u, my craft bench gets into such a mess, I clear when I finish for the day. Deb'S 🐝nz
Such a great idea. I would worry the hinge wouldn't be strong enough or what if the glue fails...maybe sew them after gluing? Or am I just a worry-wart? 😜 I will be brave and try this though. 😁 TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞
I love how you fixed & hinged all these old pages & I can’t wait to see how you use them! Have you ever done a journal with only these types of pages before??? How would you bind them since some of them or still brittle?
hinging is a challenge for me so I really appreciate your sharing this with us! 😊😊
Thank you so much!

Rachel, great idea for a relaxing session. And a great way to make those single pages too small to fold over. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
Just the nudge I needed. Finally making myself an oversized art journal. I had been thinking to hinge or not to hinge? 🤷🏻♀️🤣🤣
Thank you! 😊

I am careful which papers I use, I try not to use brittle papers. Thank you! 😊
thank you for sharing, I have a few that could use this one! I had put them aside until I could figure out what to do with them! 💕
Thank you! 😊
Rachel, brilliant ideas!! I have quite a few images that I wasn’t too sure what to do with. Thank you as always!
Thank you! 😊
I love how you fixed & hinged all these old pages & I can’t wait to see how you use them! Have you ever done a journal with only these types of pages before??? How would you bind them since some of them or still brittle?
I would use the Midori style of binding or 3 hole pamphlet stitch. Thank you! 😊
Very helpful video
Thank you! 😊
I feel like I was just waiting for permission to do this! Thank you!
Thank you! 😊
