- 🍀 Celtic finally got their hands on the Scottish Premiership trophy yesterday following a hard fought win over St Mirren on the final day of the league season.
Matt O'Riley. Kyogo & Luis Palma got the goals to spark off the celebrations as Brendan Rodgers and his men were rewarded for all their efforts throughout the campaign.
It was a special day for Joe Hart in particular as Celtic's No.1 made the final league appearance of his career but he was quick to remind us all of the massive week ahead as he and his team-mates now turn all their focus to next week's Scottish Cup Final.

The board gave the £ to the recruitment of players, the main issue in my opinion was the wrong people were in position, in that department
We signed too many development/experimental players Michael, and not enough who were first team ready

Sorry, Tino. I have to disagree on wingers being selfish. IMO a winger who selflessly works for the team, moving to make space, laying off to overlapping full backs, defending, and watching for a striker's moves. Forrest has been strong because he's been selfless (okay, without the tracking back, it has to be said).
Fair points Gavin. I just think the criticism of Palma has been a bit OTT. Think we'll see improvement in him next season 👍
James is ridiculously harsh on Palma. I get the frustration but he’s young and had a bad injury. James point about going into Europe with him is bit silly If we didn’t have Palma we don’t get that draw with Athletico, he was excellent that game. Take his goals and assists out the team we don’t win the league either. He’s a lot to do to become a first team starter but there is slot of talent there.
Think we'll see big improvement in Palma next season Danielle. Sometimes it takes players time to adjust and despite that he posted. some pretty impressive numbers across the season
Tino just a word for brendan rodgers and miracle hes pulled off this year . Working with an arm tied behind his back with a board and recruitment team full of idiots. A fanbase totally splitt and an injury list the length of your arm. What a man we have there and to be honest i wanted him gone after the hearts 2 nil. Winding clemont up and the,daft comments he said they made is a stroke of genius by a man that knows management inside and out. Give the guy the tools now. No more of the amateur hour recruitment
Spot on Martin! Fair enough too on accepting you made the wrong call after Hearts. He's proven himself (again) as the man for the job and should now be backed bigtime in the summer 🍀

Palma and yang are nowhere near good enough. That's why jamesy in Rodgers own words has said he is the best winger in the team . Upgrade on both is necessary

In the transfer market that we now have , £10 million gets you a project player, that’s what we are up against. Celtic could think about tweaking our transfer policy by signing older out of contract players 🤷🏻♂️
If you do your recruiting properly, £6 million gets you a Jota, CCV etc. Our recruitment has been very poor, and the board imposing £2 million & £3 million projects on the manager has been the problem
We spent £18 million this season, and brought in £29 million, so a net gain of about £11 million. That represents a total lack of ambition in my eyes.
