It's beginning to seem more and more like Polyend/Dreadbox Tracker/Medusa is the power combo! They play so perfectly together, I think I'd prefer them to a Tracker/Play duo.
I absolutely agree. Either go Play/Medusa or Tracker/Medusa. And yes, the Medusa is super versatile. 3 Analog and 3 Digital Oscillators. Play them together, individually or in pairs of two. Or 3 Analog and 3 FM voices. Lots of things you can do with that.
@@sandroidmusic Yeah the Medusa seems pretty amazing. Have you seen Miltos Schimatariotis’s stuff on RUclips? He’s figured out how to make the Medusa sound astounding by programming the individual pads to play chords. Check out his covers of Vangelis and the Stranger Things theme!
Enjoyed this. Simple motifs well developed. Great choice of sounds. Questions: was Medusa solely the pad voice? What effects are in your chain after Tracker/Medusa?
Thank you! ❤ Yes, the Medusa was only the pad, playing chords - with the occasional voice breaking out of the pad/chord (for dramatic effect? 😅). - Both the Tracker and Medusa go directly into Ableton. - The tracker itself has no additional external effects. Reverb and Delay are from the tracker itself. - Medusa has a Valhalla Shimmer and a Arturia Chorus JUN-6 on top of it. And that is essentially it. - Maindrums are sequenced from samples on the tracker. - Basslines were played/sampled into the tracker. - Everything else is based on the monowave.wav i think that's it. I hope that answers your question? 😂 I'm planning on releasing the project files as soon as i manage to prep my website to have a place for them.
This is so cool!
No! You guys are cool! ❤️
@@sandroidmusic opinions are divided ;)
@@Polyend they just need a slight nudge in the right direction. 😄. Keep doing what you do and they'll come around. I for one am firmly #teampolyend
Awesome sound! The tracker becomes more enticing with every use of it I see.
Thank you! ❤. Also sorry, not sorry 😄
