Bob Davie is wrong in comparing GT's offensive to the wishbone. Wishbone involved bringing blockers to the point of attack, whereas GT (especially in this game) used men in motion to draw people away from the plays. Davie knows the option, but his simplistic assessment of this is maybe more a case of him dumbing it down for TV than it is a good description of what's happening in these offensives. Whenever people tried in 2008-2009 to defend it like the wishbone, they saw one changed blocking assignment on offense ruin their entire defensive game plan, which is why so many of those early Johnson teams were torching good teams' defenses.
