To which the adventurers have collected them all on the way and they just hand them over. And then they ask for something else that seems more absurd and they just hand that over too because they already got that too... Then at the end of it it all goes faster because of what they did and makes the NPC leading them right now look bad.
3:00 and then they arrive at the burning village and an invisible wall blocks them from saving the village because they don't have 100 ice moths in their pockets yet.

This is Baradune's origin story.
Once a caring, thoughtful village wizard who was slowly driven to hate and apathy by the adventurers loot lust.
I was just thinking, "Man, for a guy who is such a jerk to Greg, he sure seems NICE here!".
Nah, this is Baradun in character. We usually only see him when he's torturing the other NPCs.
@@sharkdentures3247this is where it began 😂
LOL
This is like an escort quest, but it's designed to torture the NPC instead of the player.
Haha, great switch of the point if view 😂
Better than escorting Eugene, lol
I guess this is escorting players not NPC
I've considered setting Eugene cry as a ringtone, but that would definitely torture everyone else in the room.
So, only positives
You forgot about the part where once you actually get there they will send you to find all the fire and ice moths.
And now adventurers, to convince the Fire Mages.... we need to present with 200 rare bugs.
And the ones you've already collected somehow won't count towards the quest.
This is the most compassionate we've seen Baradun, and this is what he gets in return. Outrageous.
No wonder he’s an asshole
I figured it was actually Baradun who started the fire. He was pretty quick to blame others.
What really boils my biscuit is when devs include all kinds of loot and collectibles but don't give you enough space to actually store them.
But obviously the only other option would be to give you boundless inventory space with very little to none loot and collectables.
Balance? What's balance?
What about the sentient npc
You can get more space if you pay more for it now you see where the scam is taking place.

I’m loving the suit of armor over the dress.
Indeed. How else would anyone know who the wimmins are if they're not wearing a dress?
It's the fault of the devs, who put collectibles in the path of this quest. They were basically begging the players to derail from the quest
I'm blaming Baradun for pathing them directly through such a lucrative area. He could have detoured around it.
